Senior Social Worker

Senior Social Worker Based in CRC Lead Agency Children’s Disability Network Team, Clondalkin, Full-time Permanent, 35 hours per week. The CRC Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) provides interventions to children from the age of 0-18 years, presenting with complex developmental needs requiring inter-disciplinary intervention. The Senior Social Worker is a valuable member of the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT). The CDNT provides an evidence-based service in line with family centred practice and Progressing Disability Services (PDS) principles. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team. The successful candidate will carry a case load, supervise Social Work staff & students as required and take the Social Work lead in key areas of service development, reporting to the CDNT manager and for clinical supervision to the Principal Social Worker. The successful candidate will have the following essential requirements. · A recognised Social Work qualification and current CORU registration. · 3 years minimum post-qualification experience · Clinical knowledge, judgment and skills, including supervisory ability, to fulfil the functions of the role · Excellent communication, initiative and time management skills · Flexibility and teamwork skills are key to this role · Full driver’s license and access to car Desirable requirements: · Experience of working in a Disability, Health, or Medical setting · Experience in Child Safeguarding · Experience in Group Work · Experience in Family Centered Practice It must be clearly demonstrated in your CV and supporting statement how you meet the required skills, competencies and knowledge for the post.
