Individual Giving Fundraising Manager

Individual Giving Fundraising Manager Cross Border Role. Dublin based with hybrid working options available. Full time 35 hours per week Permanent Salary: €56,790 per annum Role: This role will oversee the work of the Individual Giving team in Depaul’s Dublin and Belfast offices. The Individual Giving Fundraising Manager will support Depaul’s ambitious strategic plan as part of the Fundraising & Communications Team, will work to meet agreed fundraising targets and KPIs, with specific focus on Individual Giving income streams. Responsibilities: Responsibility for overseeing, developing and reporting on the implementation of all aspects of Individual Giving fundraising strategy, including line management of relevant staff and stewardship of key relationships with consultants, third party agents and interns/volunteers. Contributing to the overall strategic direction and development of Depaul’s Fundraising and Communications, with particular focus on Individual Giving, including enhancing donor stewardship strategy and developing Depaul’s regular donor file through effective acquisition strategies. Supporting and inputting to the development of Major Gift and Legacy Giving strategies, in consultation with the Director of Fundraising and Communications. Providing regular analysis and reporting on Individual Giving to the Director of Fundraising & Communications, including the ability to offer evidence and knowledge-based recommendations. Oversight of CRM management and development within Fundraising and Communications, particularly with regard to providing strong data analysis and insights to guide Individual Giving strategy and plans, and including identifying skills/knowledge gaps and coordinating training for staff. Representing Fundraising and Communications on Depaul’s GDPR working group to ensure compliance. Developing strong working relationships with internal stakeholders (Depaul Services/other departments). Providing values-led leadership to the Fundraising and Communications team as a key member of management. Supporting monthly reconciliation process with Finance. Providing quarterly reports for the Fundraising and Communications Committee and Board of Trustees, as well as providing more regular reporting and analysis on progress against strategic objectives, KPIs, and targets. Keeping up to date on fundraising trends / best practice. Acting as a Depaul ambassador and demonstrating our Values. Supporting the broader objectives and activities of the Fundraising and Communications Department. Requirements: A third level degree in marketing, communications, business, or another subject with role relevance. Minimum of two years* fundraising or marketing experience (ideally in the voluntary sector) with a proven track record and experience in Individual Giving or Direct Marketing strategies. Previous management experience is desirable, but not essential *Experience at lower levels will be considered if the candidate can demonstrate an extensive knowledge or strong transferable skills in key areas, alongside and willingness and desire to learn in order to advance their career. Advanced MS Office skills in addition to experience using a CRM system. Collaborative, relationship building approach to working with colleagues within own team, with other departments, and externally. While the line manager is specified above, this does not preclude other senior roles from directing or reviewing work or setting dotted line collaborative working relationships between same or different level positions. As Depaul Ireland is an all-island organisation, regular liaison and collaboration with staff of the NI office is required.
