General Purpose & Requirements of The Job Purpose of the Job The General Operative supports the safe and efficient running of sawmill processes and daily production activities. The role involves assisting with the processing of timber products, operating machinery, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring that production areas remain safe, clean, and well organised. Health, Safety and Environmental · Comply fully with all company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures · Maintain a safe working environment by following safe working practices and reporting hazards immediately · Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times · Participate in safety briefings, training, and toolbox talks as required 2. Production Operations · Work across all work centres as directed by the Supervisor or Manager · Assist in the processing of timber through various stages of the sawmill production process · Operate sawmill machinery and equipment safely and efficiently · Support the achievement of production targets by maintaining a consistent workflow · Stack, sort, and grade timber products in line with specifications and quality standards 3. Machine Operation and Equipment · Assist with basic machine set-up and adjustments where required · Operate and monitor machinery such as saws, conveyors, and processing equipment in accordance with safety procedures · Report any equipment faults, defects, or maintenance issues to the Supervisor promptly 4. Quality · Measure timber products using tape measure and callipers to ensure that customer specifications are met · Stack, package and label finished goods to customer specifications and in compliance with the Company’s Manual Handling Policy · Ensure the quality of products and take appropriate corrective action where necessary, including informing the Production Supervisor 5. Record Keeping · Maintain up-to-date and accurate production records 6. Housekeeping · Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in line with housekeeping standards · Assist with general yard duties, including clearing waste materials and maintaining safe walkways 7. Teamwork · Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to maintain efficient production operations · Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute positively to the team environment · Make positive contributions in team meetings with specific reference to production and maintenance matters
Receptionist
We have an excellent opportunity for a Part-Time Receptionist to join our team in our Lisnaskea Practice. The successful applicant will work 22.5 hours per week from 9:00am-5:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Duties will include being responsible for all reception duties, operating a very busy switchboard, manage customer queries via telephone, email and post and booking patients appointments and general administrative duties. Promoting high standards of patient care at all times is vital. Essential Criteria:
Catering Assistant
Location: The post holder will be based at the Erne Campus, Enniskillen. However, it is anticipated that travel to other sites may be required. Overview of Role Main Duties and Responsibilities To work on a busy hot and cold deli counter, serving food and preparation of ingredients. To monitor and action appropriately food records, hygiene records, equipment and waste. To communicate well with staff and students, recommending foods and assisting customers with their choices. To undertake cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and or furniture maintaining excellent standards of hygiene. Working within a team to present and serve food. To advise the Lead Catering Assistant on stock levels, carrying out stock rotation and replenishment as necessary. To ensure the correct storage of food items and equipment after service. Other duties assigned by the Estates Manager or Lead Catering Assistant from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the service. Qualifications and Experience GCSE English Language and Maths (Grade A to C) or equivalent qualifications, or the willingness to work towards the achievement of these qualifications. Food Safety and Allergen Qualifications or willingness to undertake these qualifications within 3 months of appointment. 1 year experience working in a hospitality or customer service environment with food service duties. Skills and Capabilities Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work alone and unsupervised. General Have access to a form of transport that enables you to carry out the duties of the post. Terms and Conditions Salary: Band 2 points 3 to 4 (£13.21 to £13.42 per hour) Contract Type: Permanent Hours of work: 32 hours per week (Term Time) Location: Our campuses are located in Dungannon, Cookstown, Omagh and Enniskillen. The location of the post holder will be at the Erne Campus, Enniskillen. Holiday Entitlement: 12 public holidays plus 23 days rising to 29 days after 5 years continuous service.
