About the role We are looking for a General Operator to join the Kerry Dairy team in Newmarket. This is a full time, seasonal role working 12 hour shifts, days and nights with competitive pay and great benefits. As a General Operator your job involves working with the latest food production technology and machinery, ensuring technical compliance throughout the manufacturing process. You will be working as part of a team over a shift pattern. Our shift pattern is a 12 hour pattern and consists of 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights (4 & 3 day weeks pattern rotation) plus a highly competitive rate of pay. What's in it for me? University Hospital Kerry is the second largest of the Health Service Executive –South’s seven acute hospitals. With a catchment area of Kerry, North Cork & West Limerick it services a population of approx. over 180,554. In addition, the Kerry area has quite a large visiting population – Bord Fáilte/ Shannon Development estimate there are approximately 2 million tourists visiting this region annually, principally during the summer months. The 24/7 Emergency department cares for 39,000 Emergency presentations average annual activity levels of 11,000 Day Cases Presentations and 54,000 Outpatient Attendances.
