Nature of the role As Front of House Manager / Head Butler at Ballyfin Demesne, you will lead the butler team in crafting an exceptional and unforgettable guest experience that embodies the estate’s timeless elegance. You will oversee every aspect of guest arrival and departure, including luggage handling, valet services, and the impeccable presentation of our front-of-house. This is a highly complex and dynamic role requiring exceptional leadership and organizational abilities. You will be responsible for motivating, guiding, and inspiring your team of butlers to deliver service of the highest calibre while ensuring that teamwork flows seamlessly across all departments. Ensuring that each guest’s stay is truly memorable, personalized, and tailored to their individual needs and expectations is paramount. Outstanding organizational skills are essential to coordinate effortlessly between teams, anticipate requirements, and maintain the flawless standards of service for which Ballyfin Demesne is renowned. Acting as a key liaison between the butler team and activities, SPA, reservations, F&B and housekeeping teams, you will uphold the highest levels of luxury, discretion, and efficiency. Reservations Assistant
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an outgoing, organised and passionate individual to join our busy Reservations team. This position is a full-time position, working 5 days over 7 days. The hours of work will be operated on a shift basis between the hours of 8.00am and 7.30pm. You will be working in a friendly team environment and will be part of a team of 6. Duties include: (but not limited to:) This is a diverse and busy role. The ideal candidate will present well, have excellent communication and administrative skills and outstanding customer service. Food & Beverage Assistant
We are excited to announce this amazing opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to join our One Star Michelin Star Restaurant. Ballyfin Demesne proudly holds 3 Michelin Keys for our fabulous property located at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains in Co. Laois. We are also the proud recipient of a Michelin star for our fine dining restaurant headed by our talented chef, Richard Picard Edwards. Our Guest Experience is of the utmost importance at Ballyfin and as such exceptional Customer Service is a must. We are looking for a hardworking individual who has previous experience working in a Michelin-star restaurant. The successful candidate will have a passion for food and beverage, exceptional customer service and teamwork. This is a full-time, permanent position, 5 days over 7 days, Monday to Sunday. We are looking for Full-time individuals to join our evening service team at Ballyfin. This position will be working 5 days over 7 days, from approximately 3/4pm until closing. What we are looking for: As a Food and Beverage Assistant, we expect you to be passionate about the service you provide to our guests and have a geniune interest in customer service, food and drinks. In your role, we will provide you with excellent training to allow you to be confident in what you do and also have the confidence to communicate with our guests. We are looking for people with the right attitude and commitment to the job. A comprehensive induction program and ongoing training will be provided. Having experience in a luxurious establishment is not essential but is an advantage.
