What you'll do Compliance • Support the Director of Legal & Compliance in the development of schedule of responsibilities to ensure compliant internal and external corporate governance• Audit the compliance monitoring system to ensure compliance• Work with our international colleagues to manage compliance tasks Contract Law • Draft, review, advise on and administer a broad range of standard and non-standard contracts• Support contract negotiations as well as contract creation and checking• Create sample contracts for various contractual scenarios and business functions• Interdepartmental coordination of contract administration incl. recording of contracts on the company’s contract management database Company Law • Administer, maintain, review and update relevant registrations and records applicable to Lidl under company law Data Protection • Support the Data Protection team in advices and projects relating to data protection matters affecting the business General Legal Services • Provide timely, sound legal advice to various business units on a range of legal queries including but not limited to competition law, advertising law, commercial property law, trademark law, H&S and employment law, anti-corruption/anti-bribery legislation• Monitor legislative changes and relevant case law and update affected business areas on these changes and developments• Liaise with external legal advisers and legal firms. Monitor their service quality and costs• Advise on Irish and Northern Ireland’s regulatory obligations• Build relationships with legal advisers in specialised areas, such as intellectual property General Responsibilities • Organisation and carrying out of training• Carry out research• Manage the timely delivery of different projects What you'll need Lidl is an equal opportunities employer. VACANCIES: Relief Support Panel in Residential Social Care “ChildVision enhances the lives of children and young people with a visual impairment through specialist supports” ChildVision, the national centre for the education of blind children, based in Drumcondra, Dublin 9, is seeking suitably qualified applicants to provide cover for evening/ sleepover duties within the residential service. The relief workers will be required to assist our children and young people in their day-to-day life, including getting ready for school/college/day service, activities of daily living, meal preparation, social activities. andnight time sleep overs. The relief support panel is a designed to fill vacancies due to staff absence but members of the panel will never work alone or unsupported by a permanent, experienced, staff member. Applicants should hold or be working towards a Level 6/7 or above degree, in a relevant subject area. Some experience working with people with a Multiple disbailities and/or visual impairment would be desirable, but not necessary, as induction and trainning will be provided. Successful candidates will be paid at €14 per hour inclueding 8 hours of sleep. Interested candidates meeting the requirements should apply by with full CV and details of three referees.
