Overview of role: Gaeltec Utilities are seeking a full time Administrator within our Overhead Lines (OHL) Team to provide administrative support. The successful candidate will be a central part of the team, with strong administration and analytical skills, along with excellent communication skills. Key Duties and Responsibilities: · Providing administrative support to the team, including record keeping, meeting management, document control and report preparation. · Responsible for handling project documentation and correspondence in support of one or more managers. · Co-ordinate and process purchase requests and relevant documentation in line with relevant policies and procedures. · Administration of databases input of data, and collation of records. · Prepare communications, such as emails, reports, and other correspondence for internal and external stakeholders. · Additional administration duties or ad hoc projects as they arise. Essential Skills & Knowledge Requirements: · Minimum 2 years’ experience providing administrative support in a similar role. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel. · Strong time management and organisational skills. · Willingness to co-operate with others to solve problems in a fast-moving environment. · Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise. · An understanding of the Portuguese language would be an advantage, but not essential.

ICT Business Analyst Grade VII
Purpose of Role – Overview of the Role The ICT Business Analyst will work as part of the Applications (development) team in developing innovative solutions to support the work of Tusla and assist staff to work efficiently and effectively by maximising the use of technology. The role will primarily have responsibility for the analysis and design phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC). The role will involve working with business representatives to develop requirements/design proposals and lead on all aspects of documentation throughout the SDLC. Tusla’s ICT Application Development Architecture Tusla have a highly skilled internal application development team delivering solutions in O365 and .Net Core. The development team operate Agile and DevOps methodologies. Reporting Relationship The successful applicant will be part of the ICT Applications Team and report to the ICT Analyst & Design Lead. Duties and Responsibilities Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead requirements gathering engagements with business stakeholders by various means including facilitating workshops with subject matter experts. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative solutions using technology. • Develop process maps, high level scoping of new project requirements, business requirements and prioritising schedules. • Develop design proposals and low functional prototypes to achieve sign off from business stakeholders. • Working to an Agile methodology develop backlogs to clearly define the business requirements including use cases and business rules. • Support the end-to-end engagement with business stakeholders. • Support the development of documentation through all phases of the SDLC. Relationship Management and Collaboration: • Work closely with colleagues to deliver a quality focused ICT solution to all users. • Work in collaboration with other ICT teams as required. • Manage stakeholder engagement.
