Clinical Engineering Technician, Senior, University Hospital
With over 40 different Medical and Surgical Specialties, Cork University Hospital (CUH) is the largest University Teaching Hospital in Ireland and the only Level 1 Trauma Centre in the country serving a population of 1.1 million for its tertiary services. Physiotherapist, Senior, Mallow General Hospital
The person appointed to this post will work as a Senior Physiotherapist in Mallow General Hospital. Mallow General Hospital is located 35 kms north of Cork City serving the population of Cork and the surrounding border counties of Kerry, Limerick and Waterford. Mallow General Hospital is a Model 2 Hospital with 71 inpatient beds. The hospital provides inpatient, outpatient and day patient services. The services provided in the hospital include – general medicine, cardiology, respiratory, gerontology and gastro-enterology. 23 additional beds are opening in the second quarter of 2026 increasing capacity to 94 beds. In patient medical activity is supported by a Medical Assessment Unit and a High Dependency Unit. Mallow General Hospital also provides elective day surgery, endoscopy, injuries unit, outpatient department, laboratory, physiotherapy, and radiology including CT scanning and ultrasound services. The academic partner is University College Cork and Mallow General Hospital facilitates medical students, nursing students and allied health professional students. Purpose and Summary of Post: This is a permanent role at Saint John of God Hospital, at Grade IV level, reporting to the Administrative Coordinator. The post holder is responsible for providing efficient and effective secretarial and administrative support to all areas of the administration department, consultant psychiatrists, medical / multidisciplinary teams and any other personnel, as directed.
