Support Worker
BROTHERS OF CHARITY SERVICES –WEST REGION POST: LOCUM RELIEF SUPPORT WORKER GALWAY CITY AND COUNTY JOB REF: 89340 Location: Staff allocation could be either within Centre based residential/day centres, or in the Community as Service needs require. The Role: Support Workers provide a key-working caring role for a group of People Supported by the Services. This role comprises two main elements. Firstly, the Support Worker is responsible for all aspects of personal care required during the day. This includes meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well-being. Secondly, a major focus of the Support Worker role is to assist and support People Supported by the Services with development on Individual Plan’s and achievement of associated outcomes. In addition, a critical component of this role is to support People Supported by the Services in community participation and integration. Reporting/Responsible To: Staff Nurse in charge/Team Leader/Team Manager/Service Coordinator. Qualifications: Candidates must have a good general education. A recognised qualification in the field of intellectual disability or a FETAC level 5 course is an advantage. A full, clean, manual Irish Driving Licence is desirable. A commitment to obtaining a full licence within nine months of commencement is required as it is essential that the appointee can drive the transport that is assigned to the Service. Due to the nature and location of services, many service areas require applicants to hold a full, clean, manual Irish Driving Licence. Applicants who do not hold a full, clean, manual Irish Driving Licence may not be eligible for work in certain service areas. It may also be necessary for the appointee to obtain a Class D1 Driving Licence (if not already in possession of one). Assistance will be given towards this purpose of obtaining a class D1 licence. Experience: Experience working with individuals with an intellectual disability and individuals with challenging behaviour is desirable. Full training will be provided. Working Hours: Up to 39 hours per week based on a 7 day/night duty roster. Successful candidates will be called if and when required and will be required to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, public holidays, night duty, sleep-ins and irregular in order to meet service demands. Annual Leave: 22 days pro rata per annum, i.e. 8.46 hours per 100 hours worked. Remuneration: (HSE Pay Scales 01/08/2025) € 34,036 x 11 increments - € 46, 652 (Max) pro rata per annum. Long Service Increment (LSI) €47,454 pro rata per annum is payable after 3 years on the maximum of the scale. Senior Social And Digital Media Manager

This role will form part of the Commercial team and reports to the Group Head of Digital. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social strategy aligned with the business objectives. • Manage and execute organic social calendars supporting internal stakeholders and partner brands. • Manage and execute paid social media campaigns across multiple social platforms. • Manage the paid digital media strategy. • Own the digital advertising budget providing detailed forecasting and performance analysis. • Utilise data and analytics tools to track performance, generate actionable insights and present key finding to stakeholders. • Support the creative team by providing data-driven insights and direction on creative assets. • Support the group digital strategy from concept through to implementation and ongoing continuous improvement. The Candidate should have the following: Qualifications, experience & skills • 6+ years in a social and digital media role, gained within a customer-centric B2C environment (Agency or in-house). • In depth, hands on experience with key platforms: o Paid: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, DSPs. o Organic: Content scheduling and analytics for Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and TikTok. (e.g Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Emplifi etc). • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, concise and actionable insights. [Google Analytics, Excel, data visualisation tools]. • Proven track record of developing and executing successful paid media campaigns across multiple platforms.
