CNM Orthopaedic Services
Purpose of the post: The purpose of this post is to provide safe high quality care coordinated for patients through the following · The CNM will be part of the multi-disciplinary team that delivers care to the children referred to the Orthopaedic Service and Spinal service outsourced to external hospitals. · The role of the CNM is to provide support to Spina Bifida patients who will be having orthopaedic surgical spinal procedures, lower limb surgeries and general orthopaedic surgery. · Taking a leading role in the multi-disciplinary team that delivers care to the children referred to the service. · The CNM2will ensure their competence in the area of specialty practice providing up to date evidenced based care. · Provision of a coordinated a service that optimises support and continuity of care for patients with spinal disorders · The CNM2 will provide OPD clinic support / consultation, telephone liaison to support patient and families. · The CNM2 will liaise closely with the Orthopaedic Consultants keeping them up to date with patient progress / concerns. · Be a resource for colleagues, allied professionals and other health care professional including GP’s and Public Health Nurses (PHN’s). Essential Criteria: · Be a registered nurse on the active Children’s or General Register of Nurses and Midwives held by An Bord Altranais and Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be eligible to be so registered. · Must have a minimum of five years post qualification experience, three of which must be recent experience within Children’s nursing. · Must have experience of delivering quality improvement in a healthcare environment. Psychologist, Senior, CUH
Title of Post: Psychologist, Senior, (Adult – Long Covid & Infectious Diseases), Cork University Hospital This is a temporary 1WTE vacancy to cover a career break and will be based in the Long Covid Service, led by the LiaisonPsychiatry Service at Cork University Hospital. A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Cork University Hospital from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. Details of Service: A dedicated Senior Psychologist role will be split between the Long Covid Service and Infectious Diseases. They will provide clinical assessment and intervention to patients referred to these services. They may also be able to provide outreach and support clinical care pathways to patients from other hospitals in the Region The Senior Psychologist will work with the Liaison Psychiatry team whom operationally lead the Long Covid service. The psychologist will report professionally to the Principal Psychology Manager, Hospital Psychology Department at Cork University Hospital. The Liaison team itself provides an important role in triaging referrals and determining which patients would benefit most from psychological input. Liaison Psychiatry services at Cork University Hospital already provide assessment and treatment of individuals with mental health need referred from the hospital wards (including ICU), the Emergency Department and OPD (weekly neuropsychiatry, psych-oncology & general liaison clinics, monthly functional GI clinic). Purpose of Post: The purpose of this post is to support a psychological recovery service for patient presenting with Long Covid. This service is led by the Liaison Psychiatry Service at CUH. The Senior Psychologist will: · Work primarily with identified patients who have had psychological complications following COVID19 infection. · Will contribute to and support the psychological and cognitive assessment of all patients, both transferred to other wards and post discharge as required. · Will play a key role in the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and will offer consultation on matters such as communication, sleep, effects of sedation, anxiety, stress, mood, delirium, and family issues. · Will work with colleagues in physiotherapy, occupational therapy to enable functional rehabilitation will offer consultation and clinical follow up where appropriate to patients attending post COVID-19 clinics in CUH. Additionally, the post holder will provide a psychological service to patients under the care of the Infectious Diseases department (with an interest in HIV). OVERALL ROLE OBJECTIVE: The post holder is responsible for all administrative duties within the Procurement Department. The post holder will ensure that all orders are placed within an acceptable time, expedite orders to ensure on time delivery and will be expected to communicate any supply issues to Procurement Specialists and the procurement Supervisor. JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: The post holder will: 1. Ensure that all Purchase Orders including Customer specific, Expense (Stationary, Sundry, and PPE), Depot and Almac inventory are placed in a timely manner 2. Expedite Order confirmations and agree delivery dates with suppliers 3. Ensure the purchase order system is maintained and kept up to date at all times 4. Resolve material queries resulting from supplier non conformances, e.g. provision of purchase documentation such as certificates & packing lists 5. Liaise with Procurement Specialists to ensure the timely order placement from predefined Re-order point reports 6. Liaise with operational departments to support sourcing of sundry and commodity items as required 7. Record departmental KPI’s. Assist with data capture for supplier KPI’s to include the recording of internal information specifically relating to the upkeep of Tracker Spreadsheets. 8. Support invoice approval by checking received quantities against invoice quantity and invoice price against purchase order price 9. Assume responsibility for the overall administration and filing within the department, i.e. Purchase Order and Delivery Documentation 10. Ensure effective time management, prioritising tasks in accordance with department structure. 11. Ensure documentation is generated and completed in accordance with the principles of GMP and internal Standard Operations Procedures. 12.
