JOB SUMMARY The person/s appointed to this post will work as part of inter-disciplinary team delivering a coordinated approach to children/young people from 0-18 years across all disabilities which includes intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities sensory/motor disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She/he will be required to work as a key worker for particular cases. The reporting relationship is to the Children Disability Network Managers. Clinical governance and Clinical supervision will be provided by the Head of Department. The Social Workers will ultimately be responsible to the Director of Services. The Social Workers will work in conjunction with other team members in a senior role co-ordinating and developing the service to meet the needs of the service user group and the objectives of the organisation and the Kerry Intervention & Disability Services. The Social Workers will be responsible for the provision of a high quality service and will carry out Social Work duties as required.
