Chief II Respiratory Physiologist
Purpose of the Role The post holder will be responsible for the strategic, operational and clinical leadership of the CHI Respiratory Physiology service, ensuring delivery of effective, efficient, high quality and patient-centred services. Essential Criteria: Candidates must: Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technology University Dublin or Dublin Institute of Technology. Or Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurements Physiology (IICMP). Or if qualified in or prior to 2005 (a) Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology Or (b) Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology (IICMP). and Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ satisfactory relevant post qualification experience and Candidates must have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role. DNCC Staff Nurse General, Community
As the post holder will be required to visit clients in their homes, or other sites, bringing the necessary equipment to carry out the duties of the role. This is not achievable via public transport, therefore in order to apply candidates must have a full driving licence and access to appropriate transport. Primary Care Services The staff appointed to these posts will work within Primary Care in the PHN service; working as part of multi-disciplinary teams delivering a coordinated approach to client care. The Community RGN will be expected to maintain a high standard of nursing care, to share responsibility with the community nursing team for the management of nursing care and the patients’ environment and to maintain a high standard of professional and ethnical responsibility.
