POSITION SUMMARY: The Jigsaw Service Administrator is an important youth-friendly role which will be a first point of contact for young people who call into the Jigsaw Hub and will be able to give information or direct them to support staff in the Hub. The Service Administrator will also have responsibility for the day to day administration support for Jigsaw to ensure efficient project delivery. The Service Administrator will work closely with the Service Manager to provide the necessary administration support to ensure the successful day to day running of Jigsaw and will work as a member of the Jigsaw team. Slron/- / Radiation Therapy Service Manager III
Established in 2010, St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) operates from three Dublin locations – St Luke’s Hospital Rathgar and St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centres on the campuses of St James and Beaumont Hospitals. The Network provides a full range of world class treatments including a comprehensive VMAT programme, Intra-cranial Stereotactic (SRS), Extra-cranial Stereotactic (SBRT), Total Body Irradiation (TBI) and the national paediatric radiation oncology service. There is also a comprehensive brachytherapy service provided including both prostate seeds and ocular brachytherapy. Currently there are 14 linear accelerators within the Network, 4 in each of the centres at BC & SJC, and 6 on the Rathgar site. There are 2 CT scanners per centre. Both St James and Beaumont centres have an MRI unit. St Luke’s hospital houses the brachytherapy and superficial units. St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) has a long history of involvement in clinical trials and works very closely with Clinical Trials Ireland. St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) serves patients primarily from the Dublin East, Dublin Midlands and Dublin North East regions. Referrals are also received on a wider basis from around the country for the specialist services offered. The Radiation Service Therapy Manager III is the Line Manager for all Radiation Therapists within the designated SLRON centre. Consultant Paediatric Dental Surgeon �� Join the Future of Paediatric Care at Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) �� Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is now inviting applications for Consultant Paediatric Dental Surgeon Purpose of role: The Department of Paediatric Dentistry at CHI provides care for children with complex special healthcare needs, children with complex oral/dental needs and those requiring hospitalisation for secondary or tertiary dental care. Provision and development of the service is the principal purpose and activity for the role. At CHI, there are 3.6 WTE Consultant Paediatric Dental Surgeons. The Paediatric Dentistry service across CHI is aligned to the National Clinical Programme for Paediatrics and Neonatology. The CHI service is linked to the paediatric dentistry service at the Dublin Dental University Hospital (DDUH) via a Memorandum of Understanding. Oral health assessment and care is provided for some of the nation’s most medically complex children every day at CHI. Referrals come from the subspecialties within CHI, form primary care dental services, and from the Dublin Dental University Hospital (DDUH). Patients of the services include children who are part of the National Programmes/services in Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Dermatology, ENT/Airways, Haematology, Infectious Diseases, Metabolic Medicine, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neurodisability, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, and Plastic Surgery, as well as children with developmental disabilities and behavioural/psychiatric problems. Complex dental abnormalities make up a significant proportion of the caseload referred from the DDUH. The interface between the DDUH and CHI necessitates a link with and close liaison with the DDUH team, including dental nursing, for aspects of clinical care and service delivery that form the shared care arrangements that are in place. The service at CHI also engages heavily in training and education for NCHDs, medical and nursing staff etc. Postgraduate specialty students from the DDUH attend CHI as part of their training programme to hone their skills in a hospital/operating theatre setting, and to learn how to care for children with complex needs as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. In addition to the tertiary care services which are the focus of the department, there is a component of secondary care provided for children from the greater Dublin area.
