Electrical Instrumentation Apprentice
About the role Full-time, earn-while-you-learn apprenticeship in Electrical Instrumentation. Field Service role based in Whitegate Co. Cavan. Key responsibilities * Assist with calibration of temperature, pressure, humidity, flow, and related instruments. * Follow documented procedures; use reference standards and basic test equipment. * Record results, maintain certificates, and support traceability and housekeeping. * Flag out-of-tolerance findings and support basic troubleshooting. You’ll gain * Metrology basics, uncertainty, and traceability. * GMP/GDP practices and data integrity. * Hands-on experience with Ellab equipment and software. Quantity Surveying L8 Apprentice
First Year Apprentice Vacancy An Overview of the Level 8 Quantity Surveyor Apprenticeship An apprenticeship is a full-time programme that combines work-based learning with a formal training programme. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will work as a full- time member of staff with your employer, who will release you to attend the structured training programme with the training provider the earn as you learn approach. The learning component will be delivered through Atlantic Technological University, Co. Sligo Initially who function as the co-ordinating provider along with SCSI for Quantity Surveyor Apprenticeships in Ireland. The academic modules will be delivered online one day per week, with remaining four days on the job. Those who successfully achieve all programme elements will attain a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying at Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). Attendance at all scheduled training and achieving the various certifications involved, is a mandatory requirement for you to successfully complete the programme. The start date for apprentices recruited to join the programme will be early September 2026. Please note that requests for deferrals cannot be accommodated. You can apply for a place if you meet the relevant essential qualification criteria: • At least 18 years of age • QQI Level 5 (or equivalent) • Six subjects at 06/H7 • Two subjects at H5 • English or Irish at • 06/H7 • Maths at 06/H7 • Solid literacy, verbal, and numeracy skills • Good computer skills Apprentice details required: 1. Professional Hairdressers are qualified to work autonomously in a competent, professional and independent capacity, with the ability to use the knowledge, skills and competence required in their professional practice. They perform an extensive range of skills and services, from styling, colouring and cutting hair to performing scalp treatments. Typical duties include: shampooing and conditioning hair, cutting, and styling, giving and recommending hair treatments, permanent waving. Stylists will be competent at identifying hair and scalp conditions through hair and scalp analysis, and can recommend appropriate treatments or services. Hairdressers will be creative and be able to work with a variety of hair lengths, types, textures and ethnicities. They will be knowledgeable and have due regard to health and safety practices and legislation. They will have good communication skills and establish and maintain good customer relations. They will also be able to use the modern, computerised tools and equipment found in the modern salon and have the basic computer skills required for client record keeping and stock control. Wood Manufacturing And Finishing Apprentice
The Craft of Wood Manufacturing and Finishing encompasses most of the skills required in the manufacture of joinery and furniture products. The areas of work covered are modern, traditional, reproduction and restoration furniture; stairs, windows, doors and wood mouldings; and stains, polishes and finishes. Skills The skills required are wide and varied, and include working with metals, plastics and other manufactured materials. The use of all woodworking machines, IT skills and CAD/CAM software knowledge for CNC programming are essential parts of the trade. A sound knowledge of veneering, inlaying, marquetry, turning, carving, jig making, prototyping, maintenance of equipment and developed hand skills is required.
