Careers And Learning Resources Graduate Intern
The Careers & Learning Resources Graduate Intern will work under the direction and guidance of the Careers and Learning Resources Manager to assist in the provision of an up-to-date information service to support students with their studies and will have a key role in assisting in providing IT support to students and staff. The Careers & Learning Resources Intern will work as part of a team to assist in providing an efficient and effective first-line support service for all users to ensure that they access appropriate career resources. This job description is intended to provide a guide to the general duties and responsibilities of the specified post and to set it in the context of the framework within which the post holder will operate. Learning Support Mentor Register
The Learning Support Mentor will have responsibility for providing 1:1 mentoring support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. The Learning Support Mentor will provide support, study guidance, motivation, and guidance to help students overcome obstacles to their learning as a result of their learning difficulty and/or disability, such as specific literacy difficulties, Autism or Asperger’s Syndrome, mental health difficulties or mobility difficulties. * This is an application to the Permanent Learning Support Register. Applicants have the potential to be offered up to 36 hours per week during term time. Student requirements are confirmed following an initial needs assessment with the Learning Support Manager / Co-ordinator at any point in the academic year. Staff will be given an indication of hours at the commencement of their role and they are likely to remain for the remainder of beginning of the academic year; these are likely to be reviewed to meet the needs of new referrals as the academic year progresses. Trainee Accountant
The post-holder will work under the direction and guidance of the Financial / Management Accountant to ensure the provision of an efficient and effective finance service and will report through the Financial / Management Accountant to the Deputy Head of Finance. The post holder will commit to becoming a fully qualified Accountant. The College will support as required through day release, course fees, books and travel. Finance Business Partner Management Accounts
The Finance Business Partner will report to the Management Accountant and will contribute to the effective and smooth operation of the College through the provision of a dedicated business and finance support service to Faculties and Functional Areas. In particular, the post-holder will provide expertise, advice and direct support to Senior Curriculum and other Managers in areas including budgetary control and financial management, preparation of a range of Business Cases, Projects, Bids, Appraisals and Post Project Evaluations.
