About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a General Seasonal Operator to join our Kerry Dairy Ireland Team in Charleville, Cork. This is a seasonal position, Monday –Sunday with rotating Days (08:00-16:00), Evenings (16:00-00:00), and Nights (00:00-8:00). During periods of increased demand, overtime and weekend with increased pay is available. The Seasonal Operative role itself is varied, and depending on your skills and training, you can be assigned to the different parts of the site. Any previous experience as a production operative, warehouse operative, forklift operative, line operative or machine operator will be an advantage. What will you do? As a Seasonal Operator you will work as part of a team in our Production areas, you will be responsible for quality control of ingredients and products as well as the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, customers and consumers. About the Broadcasting & VOD Compliance & Complaints Team The Broadcasting & VOD Compliance & Complaints team sits in the Media Landscape division and handles complaints about broadcast and video on-demand content not meeting standards in relation to matters such as harm, offence, incitement to violence/hatred, fairness, objectivity and impartiality. The team also monitors compliance with media service codes and rules, broadcasting contracts and European Works obligations for broadcasters and VOD providers. Project Manager: Virtual Services
Overall Purpose of the Post: Enable Ireland in partnership with the HSE seeks a Project Manager to develop a model for accessible and sustainable Virtual Services in collaboration with a small number of HSE funded Adult Disability service providers and within the current Adult Day Services framework. This is an exciting opportunity to work on an innovative project to identify the demand and need for online services to support adults with disabilities nationally. The Project Manager will adopt a co-design approach to undertake organisational needs analysis of current and future interest and need from participating organisations. They will share accessibility training resources, support access to Assistive Technology, support access to Enable Ireland’s current virtual service offerings and manage the development and delivery of 4 new online courses in partnership with participating organisations which will be informed by the organisational needs analysis. This is a hands-on Project Management role, where the post holder is expected to both lead and participate in the development of the project. Duties: The Virtual Services Project Manager will manage all aspects of project delivery to ensure successful delivery of the project objectives, including the management of relationships between the lead agencies: Enable Ireland and the HSE, the oversight group, participating partners, the external systems assessor, and others. The project consists of three stands: - Governance & oversight - Operations - Systems Assessment of current status and future potential of virtual services Terms & Conditions: Responsible to: Manager, National Assistive Technology Training Service Probation: A probationary period of 6 months applies, wherein three probationary meetings will take place to review your performance and suitability for appointment. The probationary period may be extended or terminated for any reason at Enable Ireland’s discretion. Salary: Grade VI €51,589 - €63,501 Annual leave: Annual leave entitlement is 33 days per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service. Pension Scheme: Enable Ireland operates a contributory pension scheme which all employees may join on earlier of 1st July or 1st January following start date. Medical: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a medical assessment. Garda Clearance/ Police Clearance: These will be required for all prospective employees who will undertake relevant work or activities relating to children or vulnerable persons. Sick Pay (if applicable): All periods of sickness exceeding two days must be medically certified . Weekly medical certificates are required thereafter. The Company reserves the right to have you examined by its own Doctor after 3 months continuous sick leave. Upon completion of 6 months continuous service with the Company sick pay will be as follows: Full pay less social welfare for the first 13 weeks of sickness in any 12 month rolling period and half pay less social welfare for a further 13 weeks of sickness absence in the same 12 month rolling period Redeployment: In exceptional circumstances the organisation reserves the right to redeploy you to an alternative role that is suitable to your skills and experience.
