DESCRIPTION AND VISION OF CORLANN Corlann West Region provide a community based, person centred service focusing on the needs and abilities of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Beo Adult Services provide a range of community-based servicesincluding day, residential, respite, community outreach, family support and a range of multidisciplinary support services. People are supported in day centres, supported employment, social and micro enterprises, training and education and these can be in groups or individualised. People are supported in residential settings in their own homes in the community individually and in groups. We wish to create opportunities for people who use our services to have valued social roles in their communities and to form friendships. We wish to recruit innovative, creative and motivated people who will relish the opportunity to assist in achieving this vision as part of a team. We are looking for people who will be flexible and adapt to the needs of particular individuals they supportand are open to change. Location: Beo Adult Services (Galway City and surrounding areas) The Senior Community Facilitator will report to, and work alongside, the Team Leader, and will fulfil a key worker role for individuals identified. We aim to provide a safe, secure environment where: · individuals participate in local community and leisure activities, · are supported to make personal choices, · enjoy a lifestyle that fulfils their potential and expectations · have the opportunity to engage in new experiences. The Senior Community Facilitator will also be expected to stand in for the Team Leader in their absence, and be capable of assuming the role of senior person on duty when required, offering a point of contact, advice and support for the wider BEO Services if necessary. The successful candidate will initially be assigned to work within a specific BEO Day Service; however this work location may change depending on service needs. The Role: Reporting/Responsible to: Team Manager / Service Coordinator / Area Manager Location. Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Rostered Monday to Friday. Contracted hours of work are liable to change from 8am to 8pm to meet the requirements of the programme. Future developments within the services may require that you are prepared to transfer to other work locations as the service needs demand. Corlann model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures quality and person centred planning system requiring employees to be flexible in their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each person supported Annual Leave: 22 days per annum (pro-rata for part-time), i.e. 8.46 hours per 100 hours worked. Remuneration: €41,431 x 8 increments - €52,317 (Max) per annum pro-rata (Department of Health Senior Instructor/Supervisor Grade as at 01/06/2026). LSI 1 €54,011 per annum pro-rata is paid after 3 years on the maximum of the scale. LSI 2 €55,805 per annum pro-rata is paid after a further 3 years. Senior Paediatric Psychologist
Purpose of the Role The purpose of this post is to provide a psychological service to children and families referred to the Paediatric Psychology service at CHI Crumlin. The service provides psychological support to children attending CHI Crumlin who present with mild to moderate psychological difficulties that occur in the context of a medical illness and/or physical symptoms. The post holder will work with multiple teams and provide a psychology service on an inpatient and outpatient basis. The successful candidate may be required to work across CHI sites and services in line with organisational requirements and the development of the new children’s hospital and associated services. Essential Criteria: · Hold a recognised University degree or diploma obtained with first or second class honours in which psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject or hold a recognised qualification equivalent to above. And · Hold a relevant post-graduate professional qualification in Psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland. Or · Hold a postgraduate professional psychology qualification validated by the Department of Health and Children. Clinical Nurse Manager, Endoscopy, General Hospital
Mallow General Hospital (MGH) is a Model 2 hospital as defined by the Acute Medicine Programme. MGH serves a population of North Cork and surrounding area with a population of circa 90,000. Mallow General Hospital is a 95 bed Acute General Hospital providing inpatient, outpatient and day patient services. The services provided in the hospital include general medicine, cardiology, respiratory, gerontology, gastroenterology, dermatology and palliative care. Inpatient medical activity is supported by a Medical Assessment Unit and a High Dependency Unit. Mallow General Hospital also provides elective Day Surgery, and Endoscopy. There is an Injuries Unit, Outpatients Department, Physiotherapy and Radiology department. Specialist nursing includes Cardiology, Respiratory, Diabetes, and Tissue Viability, Care of the Older Adult, Haemovigilance and Infection Control. Surgical planned procedures include General Surgery, Urology, ENT, Vascular (open, laser/radio frequency) and Dental Special Needs Adult. A Pre-Assessment Clinic supports the surgical day service. The hospital is currently undergoing major infrastructural development with new inpatient accommodation under construction. Six Health Regions have been established within the HSE, on the basis of the geographical boundaries agreed by the Government in July 2019 and they have been operational since 2024. Each Health Region will be tasked with population specific planning resourcing and delivery of health and social care services for the needs of its unique population.
