Monitoring & Evaluation Officer Learning and Growth REF: MEO/05/25 Grade: Staff Officer (SO), Permanent Salary will be in the range £35,560 - £36,783 per annum Closing date for applications: 17:00 on Monday 23rd June 2025 Purpose of the role The post-holder will support the effective delivery of programmes and services by implementing robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks. The postholder will collect, analyse and report on data to assess the impact, effi ciency and compliance of services, while contributing to evidence-based decision making, continuous improvement and accountability across the organisation and the wider victims and survivors sector. By the closing date for applications, candidates must demonstrate that they fulfil each of the following essential criteria: 1. Qualified to at least Level 5 (e.g. HND or equivalent) in a relevant ICT-based subject. 2. A minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in all of the following criteria: a. Co-ordinating all aspects of monthly monitoring data collection and reporting, ensuring output is of high quality and produced on time. b. The use of SQL, Power BI, Advanced Excel (or equivalents). c. Implementing an organisation’s data collection strategy, including training users in how to input and extract data from existing information systems. d. Maintaining the security and integrity of data. e. Developing data queries using recognised data manipulation tools e.g. SQL or equivalent. f. Demonstrating good problem-solving and analytical skills. DESIRABLE CRITERIA In addition, applicants should be aware that after an eligibility sift, should it be necessary to shortlist candidates to go forward to interview, this will be done by applying the following additional criteria: 1. Experience using MS Dynamics 365 (CRM). 2. Experience in the use of Python for data analysis, automation or software development. 3. A minimum of 1 year’s experience of working in the public sector. First Year Apprentice Vacancy Established in 2005 Burke Electrical Installations is an electrical contracting specialist responsible for the completion of high profile, high specification electrical projects including design and build electrical contracts. We are currently seeking 1st Year Apprentices to join our team to work on sites in the Leinster region. This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic candidates who wish to complete a four year electrical apprenticeship in the Electrical trade. Successful applicants will be trained to the highest of standards in all aspects of the trade. Applicants are required to have a valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling. Site experience, driving licence & own transport is an advantage. Profile of Craft The electrical craftsperson is concerned with the installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of: electrical wiring systems and services; electrical plant and control equipment; process monitoring and control systems. Modern process plant includes electrical, electro-mechanical, electropneumatic-, electronic- and microprocessor-based systems. In order to function effectively and efficiently, the electrical craftsperson must have a broad base of technical knowledge complementary to information gathering and analytical skills. The ability to interpret technical data and the proper use of test instruments is critical for effective system maintenance, fault diagnosis and rectification, and the installation/calibration of sensors, transmitting and controlling devices. This craftsperson must maintain effective communications with colleagues, clients and equipment suppliers. Proper maintenance, and updating of jobrelated and equipment-related documentation is critical. All work undertaken by electrical craftspersons is subject to statutory regulations governing the safety of personnel, plant, premises and the environment.
