Annual Leave Entitlement : 33 days Overview of the Post: To work as a senior member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children aged 0-18 years and families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a speech & language therapy service to include assessment diagnostics and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities. The post holder will be required to work across a variety of settings including the clinic, schools, preschools and special schools, children’s homes and community settings. The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: · Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a Speech & Language Therapist by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU; AND · Have 3 years’ full time (or an aggregate of 3 years’ full time) post qualification clinical experience; AND · Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office; AND · Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Speech & Language Therapist Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued. Annual registration · On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU. AND · Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland. · Be eligible to work in the State. · Hold a full clean driving licence and access to own transport. Desirable Criteria: · Experience of interdisciplinary team working. · Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children with disabilities. · Experience working with children with Eating, Drinking and Swallowing difficulties. · Experience working with Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC). Administration Officer
Role and Function of the Administration Support The Administration Officer plays a key role in AIIHPC providing full-time reception duties and administrative support to the Office Manager, CEO, and wider AIIHPC Team, as required. The post holder is the first point of contact with the Institute for the general public, member organisations, key stakeholders, suppliers, etc., as a representative of AIIHPC. The Administration Officer will use their own initiative to respond appropriately to queries and to filter enquiries as appropriate to the Office Manager or other team members. The Administration Officer will be required to conduct all assignments in a professional, courteous, and confidential manner. It is expected the post holder will plan and organise their own work and determine the priority of tasks. General Duties and Responsibilities Resignation The post holder must provide not less than one month’s written notice of resignation. Senior Respiratory Physiologist
Senior Respiratory Physiologist Purpose of the Role To perform pulmonary function studies and sleep studies and to support the Respiratory teams and other teams with accurate test data in a professional manner, performing tests using a variety of skills, techniques and equipment. A complete understanding of all the techniques and equipment associated with these tests as well as an ability to make accurate measurements is required. Embrace and support any changes in technology, and assist in the implementation and operation of these changes. The extent and speed of change in the delivery of health care is such that adaptability is essential in this position. The incumbent will be required to maintain and enhance their professional knowledge, skill and aptitudes necessary to respond to a changing environment. Essential Criteria: · Possess a BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technology University Dublin or Dublin Institute of Technology.
