AmTrust International are currently looking for a Solicitor to join our team based out of our London office. The role will be reporting directly to the Head of International Litigation and be providing day to day operational conduct associated with insurance and corporate related litigation. Within the role you will: · Assistance to Claims with coverage and defence advice across Property, LEI, warranty and motor products. · Assistance and ad hoc advice to Complaints and Data Protection Office on contentious matters. · Advice on and conduct of general commercial, corporate, IP/ IT and real estate contentious issues arising within the business. · Internal reporting on litigation matters to C-Suite and internal audit, including tracking spend, SLAs and KPI. · Management of solicitor and paralegal conducting Small Claims / Fast Track litigation in-house. · Instructing external solicitors and counsel, both UK and internationally, where appropriate. · Comply with AmTrust procedures, policies and regulations as relevant to remit. · Ensure you and your direct reports complete all mandatory and job specific training requirements in line with the required time frames. To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years professional experience, knowledge of insurance distribution, Insurance coverage and defence and commercial disputes. Also required is Experience in the conduct of Small Claims, Fast Track, Intermediate Track and Multi-Track Litigation.
