We’re looking for committed Accommodation Support Officers to join our team and provide vital support to participants with their housing needs. In this role, you will manage a caseload of adult males either residing in custody. Working in close partnership with probation practitioners, you will carry out initial assessments to understand each individual’s circumstances and develop tailored accommodation plans through a series of agreed interventions. You will help participants navigate housing challenges, ensure they are kept informed of decisions that affect them, and support their understanding of their rights throughout the process. We welcome applicants from a variety of professional backgrounds, including social services, mental health, education, or those who have recently graduated and are seeking experience in the criminal justice sector. If you bring a person focused approach and transferable skills, we’d love to hear from you. We understand that not everyone will tick every box and that’s okay.
