Forklift Truck/Warehouse Operative

As a Forklift Truck Driver you are responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse, supporting inbound, outbound, and replenishment activities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining stock accuracy, operational flow, and high standards of health & safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment. WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LOOK LIKE? • Safely operate forklift trucks to move, load, and unload stock within the warehouse. • Support Goods In, outbound, and replenishment activities in line with operational priorities. • Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded in warehouse systems. • Carry out pre-use equipment checks and report any defects immediately. • Maintain high standards of health & safety, hygiene, and housekeeping at all times. • Assist with stock counts, stock takes, and inventory checks as required. • Work collaboratively with warehouse operatives, supervisors, and team leaders. • Follow site procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work. • Support peak and seasonal activity, flexing across tasks where required. • Escalate issues, damages, or discrepancies to the Supervisor promptly. WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED • A valid forklift truck licence (Counterbalance / Reach /VNA & Bendi as required). • Experience operating FLT in a warehouse or FMCG environment preferred. • Strong awareness of health & safety requirements. • Good attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Reliable, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. • Willingness to undertake Primeline FLT assessment and refresher training WHO WE ARE Primeline Express are the largest independent Irish provider of express road freight between Ireland and the UK by developing an intricate understanding of the market.
