Duties & Responsibilities Provide transport to the visitors and professionals into the prison grounds. To promote a friendly, caring and supportive atmosphere, welcoming all who attend the visitor centres, buses and visiting halls. Maintain health and safety standards and participate in cleaning duties on each of the buses. Keep appropriate records. Liaise with prison staff on behalf of visitors as appropriate. To undertake any other duties as required by the Visitor Centre Supervisor. Essential Must hold a full clean driving licence with Category D PCV entitlement and CPC. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to display appropriate understanding and sensitivity when supporting people impacted by the criminal justice system. Health and Safety or First Aid Certificate, or willing to complete within the first 6 months of appointment. Desirable Previous experience of driving passenger vehicles.
