The successful candidates will be experienced professionals in the fire and rescue service and have experience of managing operational incidents. They will also be confident, innovative and resilient leaders and will be role models clearly demonstrating the values and behaviours expected of the Fire and Rescue Service. They will have delivered change and improvement to service delivery, ensured effective governance and financial management and can demonstrate the strategic acumen necessary to be a valued middle manager and leader within NIFRS. Applicants should note that the duties, responsibilities and base locations of these posts may be subject to change and that NIFRS will create a reserve list for 12 months should any further Group Commander vacancies arise. Software Tester

Social Care Worker
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Social Care Worker to join our services in residential setting in Bray Co. Wicklow on a Part-time basis (120 per month). As a SCW, you will be involved in supporting clients to achieve their personal outcomes, to build on their potential and to develop positive roles within their home and in the community. Working hours will be variable including day shifts, sleepovers, weekends, and unsociable hours. 3A Vevay is a residential service that provides support to 4 adults, some who require a mix of high-level support and some who are more independent. Jigsaw Clinician
POSITION SUMMARY: Jigsaw clinicians offer short-term therapeutic supports to young people aged 12-25 years who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. This usually involves 1:1 work with the young person and sometimes it can include other family members as well. Our clinicians come from diverse professional backgrounds encompassing qualifications in social work, occupational therapy, mental health nursing, clinical/counselling/educational psychology, and psychotherapy, and they work as part of transdisciplinary teams based at one of our 15 services across the country. All of our clinicians share the same scope of practice to support the goals of our young people in a collaborative, respectful, and evidence-informed manner while drawing on their own unique training, experience, and skills. Additionally, clinicians are involved in health promotion, youth engagement, service development, and advocacy. Our clinicians benefit from frequent and supportive clinical supervision alongside a comprehensive programme of continuing professional development.
