Production Planner
Key Responsibilities: - As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing daily and weekly production plans to meet customer demand while maximising operational efficiency and minimising waste. You will ensure alignment between sales forecasts, stock levels, labour availability, and production capacity to deliver on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance. Main Duties / Responsibilities: Develop and maintain daily and weekly production plans. Sequence production schedules to optimise efficiency and changeovers. Adjust plans in response to downtime, shortages, and demand changes. Monitor adherence to plan and escalate risks proactively. Influence Production, Technical and Commercial teams to ensure plans are realistic, achievable, and aligned to business priorities. Ensure planning decisions support compliance with food safety, allergen control, and traceability requirements. Maintain planning data within ERP systems ensuring accuracy. Analyse KPIs including OTIF, MLOR, Attainment. Support audit readiness through accurate planning and documentation. Support stock control and material availability. Support continuous improvement and planning automation. Support NPD launches and trials coordination. GALWAY REF: 97662 Location: Orchard service is a developing community-based day and residential service in East Galway environs. We provide individualised services, centre-based and community-based day and residential service to adults with high support needs, based on personal outcome measures. We strive to provide an excellent service, integrating the community as much as possible into the daily lives of the people supported by the services. The Role: To provide clinical nursing skills in supporting people with intellectual disabilities in achieving optimum level of independence. To exhibit and maintain the highest quality of nursing practice and apply their skills to ensure the physical, social, emotional needs of the people supported by the services in their care are addressed at all times. Be responsible for the provision of nursing care and be an informed resource for educating support workers and family members, which shall benefit people supported by the services. Reporting/Responsible To: Team Leader/Service Co-ordinator/Area Manager. Works With: The people supported by the services and their families and carers/Team Leader and other managers /Multidisciplinary staff Qualifications: A current Live Register Certificate with the NMBI (An Bord Altranais), RNID or RGN qualification is highly desirable. A full clean manual Driving Licence, which qualifies you to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish Roads and use of your own car is an essential requirement. Experience of working with people with an intellectual disability and complex needs is desirable; however induction and training will be provided. Fluency in verbal and written English is an essential requirement of this post, along with proficiency in IT Skills. Experience: Candidates must have a level of experience sufficient to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the post together with an appreciation of the needs of persons with an intellectual disability. Experience of working with people with challenging behaviour and mental health is an advantage. The enhanced nurse may be required to undertake other duties appropriate to the position and within their scope of practice including deputising for the Team Leader in their absence. GALWAY JOB REF: 97660 The Role: The successful candidates will be involved in the development of a day service provision in Gort, County Galway. The successful candidate will also be involved in the implementation of an educational, social, vocational, recreational and personal development programme for adults with an intellectual disability. In line with new directions and extended opening hours the successful candidates will also be responsible for providing family support, coordinating social groups and evening activities and providing one to one supports in the community as required. The successful candidates will also have responsibility in a key worker role for the people supported by the services to form links and interests and partnerships with other community groups. For this role the individual will work with adults with Autism with some complex needs. Therefore, the instructor will also be responsible to support individuals with all aspects of personal care required during the day. This includes supporting individuals with their meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well-being, to the extent required by the individual.
