Name of Project: Own Front Door Project (OFD) Introduction to the Model The OFD project seeks to develop effective and sustainable Emergency accommodation and services (through housing, as an alternative to hostels and hotels) for families and single people referred by the relevant Local authority. The project worker will then assess the individuals/family needs to establish appropriate services and supports including schools, parenting and childcare for families. The key objective is to ensure a coordinated response to access and exit appropriate housing and healthcare and social support to exit homelessness and sustain a home long-term. Some case work will be allocated under our Housing Plus programme to support long-term tenants in crisis and ensure long-term tenancy sustainment. Media Regulation Implementation Manager, Higher Executive Officer, - Month Contract
About This Role Role Purpose This role will support the implementation of new and emerging statutory functions assigned to Coimisiún na Meán arising from EU and domestic media regulation. This includes regulations aimed at strengthening media pluralism and independence and ensuring transparency in media ownership and state advertising. The role spans regulatory assessment, stakeholder engagement and compliance monitoring across a dynamic and evolving media landscape. Key Responsibilities · Supporting the assessment of media merger notifications, including gathering and analysing data on audience share, market reach, market conditions and competitive dynamics to inform merger decisions. · Supporting the implementation of State advertising transparency requirements, including engaging with public entities and bodies to roll out reporting guidelines and procedures, ensure compliance and monitor and report on outcomes. · Engaging with Media Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure compliance with · Statutory transparency requirements and monitoring and reporting on outcomes. · Coordinating with the European Board of Media Services on relevant media regulation issues. · Supporting the Policy and Media Landscape teams on additional functions and projects, as required. Jigsaw Clinician, Swords
POSITION SUMMARY: Jigsaw clinicians offer short-term therapeutic supports to young people aged 12-25 years who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. This usually involves 1:1 work with the young person and sometimes it can include other family members as well. Our clinicians come from diverse professional backgrounds encompassing qualifications in social work, occupational therapy, mental health nursing, clinical/counselling/educational psychology, and psychotherapy, and they work as part of transdisciplinary teams based at one of our 15 services across the country. All of our clinicians share the same scope of practice to support the goals of our young people in a collaborative, respectful, and evidence-informed manner while drawing on their own unique training, experience, and skills. Additionally, clinicians are involved in health promotion, youth engagement, service development, and advocacy. Our clinicians benefit from frequent and supportive clinical supervision alongside a comprehensive programme of continuing professional development. Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position based in our North Fingal service (Swords & Balbriggan). This is a front facing role with daily interactions with Young People and members of the public.
