Overview of the role · The Healthcare Assistant at the NRH, works as an active member of the Interdisciplinary Team providing nursing support, clinician and therapy assistance to deliver an effective rehabilitation programme following the patients journey in accordance with the mission, values, policies and standards of the National Rehabilitation Hospital. · Works under the direction of qualified staff in the performance of a variety of tasks and use own initiative, to support the efficient running of the Hospital, this includes time management. · Works with patients individually or in a group setting under direct and indirect supervision, facilitating their independence with activities of daily living, with the aim of enabling patients to their home/appropriate setting. · Ensures required paperwork, stock and equipment are maintained, reviewed and ordered to facilitate service delivery with patients.
