About the Role The Temporary Executive Officer - Senior Management Support is a 6 month temporary contract in which the successful candidate will be employed by Cpl and you will work onsite in the Coimisiún na Meán’s office at 1 Shelbourne Buildings, Shelbourne Road, Dublin 4, D04 NP20, Ireland. Role Purpose Cpl are seeking a Temporary Executive Officer - Senior Management Support for our client Coimisiún na Meán. The successful candidate will be employed by Cpl on a 6-month temporary assignment working in Coimisiún na Meán, supporting the Governance and Secretariat Team. About the Team/Division The Executive Officer / Executive Assistant role sits within the Governance and Secretariat Team, part of the Corporate Services Division. The team supports the governance structures of Coimisiún na Meánand the effective operation of the five-member Commission. You will work closely with: The Higher Executive Officer who manages the overall Commissioners’ Office; The Director and Assistant Director of the Commission Secretariat; Other Secretariat colleagues, including Executive Officers and the Clerical Officer Key Responsibilities •Provide proactive executive support to senior leaders, acting as a trusted point of contact •Manage complex and fast‑changing diaries, meetings, logistics and travel •Screen and prioritise emails, calls and requests •Liaise professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders on all EA and secretariat matters •Assist in Secretariat governance procedures and meeting administration, including preparation of briefing materials, coordinating meetings, and supporting agendas, papers, minutes, and records. •Maintain organised digital filing and team tracking processes •Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Essential Experience & Skills •Proven administrative experience, ideally supporting senior managers/executives (EO level) •Strong diary and workload management skills •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Confident working independently and managing competing priorities •High level of discretion, professionalism and reliability Desirable •EA Experience supporting senior leadership teams •Public sector or regulatory environment experience Key Information Benefits, Package & Pay •This position is offered on a temporary agency contract for a period of 6 months. •The successful candidate will be employed by Cpl •Full time, 35 hrs per week •Annual Leave: 23 days per annum, pro rata •The role will be a hybrid role combining home and office working.
