Desirable: • Have an interest in working alongside with people with disabilities to develop digital content. • Experience working within the area of Intellectual Disability with a desire and commitment to support people to live their best lives. • Experience using a Content Management System would be an advantage. The posts will primarily support individuals to access and engage in E-Hub live online events along with supporting the E-Hub lead in the day to day running of the E-Hub. Posts can be based in the Dublin, Limerick or Tipperary service regions and in line with organization action policy hybrid working will be considered if supported by good Wi-Fi. The post holder reports to the E-Hub Lead. The right candidates will possess: · Excellent communication skills with service supported individuals · High level of digital competency with IT communication systems e.g. Zoom. Microsoft Teams and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office · Ability to be flexible with working hours in order to meet service need. Finance Transformation Director
Applegreen is seeking to recruit a Finance Transformation Director which is a newly created role reporting to the CFO. The Finance Transformation Lead plays a critical role in shaping the future of the finance function within a fast-paced FMCG and retail environment. This role will lead the reimagination and implementation of target operating models (TOMs), drive digital finance initiatives, and oversee large-scale transformation programs to enable agility, scalability, and commercial impact across the business. Key Responsibilities: · Reimagine, design, and implement future-state Finance Target Operating Models (TOMs) across all key finance domains (e.g., P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A) tailored to the demands of FMCG and retail operations. · Lead and deliver end-to-end finance transformation programs with a focus on digital enablement, process standardization, and cost efficiency. · Collaborate with commercial, operations, and IT functions to align finance capabilities with core business objectives. · Assess and transform existing finance processes, supporting the shift toward centralized/shared services or global business services (GBS) models where appropriate. · Leverage technology (e.g., SAP, Oracle, RPA) to automate and streamline reporting, forecasting, and transaction processing. · Drive performance improvement, commercial insights, and enhanced decision support through transformed FP&A and business partnering. · Establish strong change management frameworks to support adoption in dynamic, sales-driven environments. · Ensure strong internal controls and compliance are maintained during transformation efforts. The business has grown to over €3BN in annual revenue, operating 600 Motorway Service Plazas and forecourt sites internationally and employing over 16,000 people. Applegreen is seeking to recruit a Head of Procurement which is a newly created role reporting to the CFO, to establish, develop & lead a corporate procurement function around sound strategy, strong data analysis, & procurement best practices. The Head of Procurement will lead the strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimisation efforts across the forecourt retail network. This role is critical to ensuring a reliable, efficient, and value-driven supply chain for fuel, foodservice, retail goods, indirect goods and capital across all sites. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Strategy & Leadership Develop and implement a group-wide procurement strategy aligned with commercial goals across fuel, foodservice, convenience retail, and facilities. Monitor market trends and risks affecting supplier pricing, availability, and delivery – especially for FMCG and indirect goods. Drive sustainability initiatives through responsible sourcing and supplier partnerships. Category Management Lead procurement activities across core categories: fuel supply, food & beverage, store consumables, POS hardware, indirect goods (e.g. maintenance, utilities, etc.) and capital equipment. Partner with merchandising and operations teams to support promotional campaigns, NPD (new product development), and in-store experience. Supplier Management Build and manage strong supplier relationships to ensure performance, reliability, and innovation. Lead negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms, volume rebates, and service levels. Monitor compliance and conduct regular supplier reviews, including audits. Operational Excellence Improve procurement processes and controls to reduce waste and increase efficiency. Ensure all procurement practices comply with company policy and regulatory requirements (e.g., fuel handling standards, food safety, environmental impact). Leadership Manage and grow a high-performing procurement/trading team across different categories and locations. Embed a culture of accountability, commercial excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. Financial Management Control the procurement budget, delivering year-on-year savings and cost avoidance. Analyse purchasing data and provide regular reports to senior management on procurement KPIs and supplier performance.
