Within our company’s headquarters in Limerick, you will find over 70 support staff working across a variety of functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Services, Purchasing, Human Resources and Logistics. We are now looking to recruit a Mobile Shop Assistant  who will work across both our Finglas and Dundalk stores and on occasion other stores within a certain geographical radius. We envisage that the mobile shop assistant will live near to either Finglas or Dundalk and be able to travel to the other store at short notice when required. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic work environment. Your Mission! As a shop assistant, you will provide our customers with a knowledgeable, friendly, and dependable service. You'll have a passion for driving shop sales, promoting our products and services, and delivering professional customer service. You’ll join a team who take pride in their store, work together and have lots of fun along the way! Duties & Responsibilities · Building effective relationships with customers through value added selling. · Identifying sales opportunities and offering advice and solutions on our extensive range of products. · Striving to achieve monthly key performance indicators including sales & margin targets. · Maintaining a clean shop and effectively merchandised counter area. · Ensuring stock levels are maintained. · Making telesales calls to new or existing customers. · Keeping your working environment tidy and safe. · Being security conscious at all times. Skills, Experience & Requirements · Experienced in selling with a strong ambition to succeed. · Must have  full use of a reliable car and a full driving license. · People person with exceptional demonstrated customer service qualities and a positive can-do attitude. · Prepared to work hard and embrace learning opportunities. · A great communicator who loves to help people. · Friendly, reliable, honest and enthusiastic. · The flexibility and mobility to move and work to the same high standards within a number of our shops at short notice, in a radius to your home, is essential. · Background in construction, tools or automotive industry ideal but not essential Or D.I.Y. store or trade/retail store experience. Duties and Responsibilities · Achieve Sales Targets:  Strive to meet and exceed targets for your assigned territory. · Promote Multi-Channel Offering : Promote our services offered across all contact points including Shops/Online/Telesales and Systems. · Identify and Pursue Sales Opportunities:  Target new potential customers within the industry to drive sales growth. · Develop Customer Relationships:  Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers across all customer bases (small, medium and large) to ensure ongoing business and achieve growth potential. · Product Knowledge:  Demonstrate a commitment to developing knowledge of our products and services to deliver accurate advice and information as well as tailored recommendations to customers. · Sales Demonstrations:  Showcase our products and services to customers, providing detailed quotations, and highlighting the benefits to secure sales! · Customer Service:  Deliver exceptional customer service to your customer base, going above and beyond to meet their needs. · Territory Planning:  Plan and manage your territory effectively in consultation with your Area Sales Manager to ensure maximum regional coverage. · Order & Information Management:  Maintain customer and order data entry and all other relevant information using the in-house iPad “Speedy” system. Eligibility Criteria · Experience:  Sales experience desirable but only a willingness to learn and eagerness to work! · Passion for Selling:  Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering excellent customer service through sales. · IT Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to inhouse systems or applications. · Self-Motivated:  Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively, with a proactive approach to sales and problem-solving. · Driving Licence:  Full clean driving licence essential. We are now looking to recruit an  IT Operations Manager  based in our Head Office in Limerick; This role offers the stability and support of a large well-established business, but the freedom to take the initiative, and drive changes that will have a real impact on the business operations from an IT perspective. There is a small local IT Infrastructure support team, supported by a global corporate IT support capability as well as external suppliers. While part of the role will be managing the department, the main emphasis will be on working with the Operations Director to identify and deliver IT systems and Business Process Improvement initiatives. Responsibilities · Responsible for the technical direction of local IT Strategy to enhance the business operations. · Work with Senior Management to identify and prioritise IT related systems and process improvement initiatives. · Review and analyse current systems/processes fully with appropriate engagement from the business teams. · Make recommendations and costings for systems/process improvement initiatives. · Project Delivery - Working with internal and external IT Project Teams to ensure initiatives are delivered successfully on budget and within the agreed timescales. · Progress reporting to Senior Management. · Ability to work within Global Corporate IT governance framework. · Effectively manage a small existing local Infrastructure support team with 1 direct report. · Devise, establish and maintain IT strategy, policies and system to support the organisation. · Control IT budget and report expenditure. · Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and implement accordingly. · Ensure all types of technology queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner. · Support employees in their use of technology for business purposes. · Support and deploy various hardware and software, laptops, iPads, mobile phones etc. Essential Requirements Be professionally curious. Strong stakeholder management skills. Minimum of 5-7 years IT experience. Must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable interacting with Technical Specialists and be able to interact professionally with Senior Management locally and internationally. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to influence the business to show how the proposed solutions will deliver benefits and solve the problem identified. Experience managing or leading an infrastructure support team. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or relevant IT Degree. Non Essential Requirements Business Process Mapping Experience with SAP would be beneficial but not essential.
