The core values that are intrinsic to the design and delivery of a quality mental health care service are as follows: services should be integrated, multidisciplinary, and recovery-oriented, addressing the biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to mental health problems. Collaboration with service users and families is at the heart of nursing practice for every Nurse working in Mental Health Services. Care must be person-centred and adapted to each individual’s needs and potential. The range of interventions should be recovery-oriented, comprehensive, evidence-based based and as least restrictive as possible. The CNM 1 post will support the Mental Health Clinical Programme delivery.
