Clear Pharmacy has an excellent opportunity for a Part Time Pharmacy Student to work in our Portglenone branch. The ideal candidate will work 4 hours per week from 9.00am to 1.00pm every Saturday. Duties will include working across the Pharmacy counter and dispensary. Assisting customers in the selection and purchasing of items, operating the till, sales of over the counter medicines, providing customers with information on symptoms and products, stocking and tidying shelves, merchandising and ordering. Promoting high standards of customer service at all times is vital. Essential Criteria
Accountant
The Clear Group requires an Accountant to join our team working on a full-time permanent basis from 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday based in our Support Office, Belfast. Reporting to the Financial Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Group financial management and monitoring of the internal control environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities Preparation of accounts Ensure the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports for the operational management. Responsibility for all journals and final GL balances including review of month end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Group’s accounting records and financial systems. Production of statutory accounts for the various companies in Pharmacy Division as and when required in accordance with the relevant accounting principles and the legislation of the countries in which they operate. Budgets and forecasts Preparation of budgets and forecasts and continued monitoring and review of performance against them to enable robust reporting of variances. Financial management and controls Effectively manage the working capital components of the Group with specific attention to stock and cash balances. Active management of overheads whilst seeking out areas for efficiencies and savings. Assist in the production of a Control and Procedures manual and to ensure it is being adhered to. Play an active role in assisting management in the risk assessment process and embedding a risk management culture throughout the organisation. Taxation Ensure returns for VAT are submitted, payments made on time and all relevant regulations are complied with. Staff Effectively manage, motivate and develop the Finance department team. Supervise and review performance of individuals in the team. Liaise with different departments to ensure the Finance department is properly supporting the needs of the Pharmacy Division. General Liaise with auditors, tax advisers, brokers, bankers and other parties as directed by the Financial Director. Carry out any further tasks for which your qualifications and experience are suited as directed by the Company. Essential Criteria Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) Excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team Strong attention to detail and drive to deliver improvement to any organisation or project you are involved in Competent in the use of Excel and other accounting packages Organised and able to effectively manage time to deal with conflicting priorities
