The main purpose of the Candidate Advanced Nurse Practitioner (cANP) Critical Care Outreach post is for the individual to develop their competencies and person specification documentation for the RANP Critical Care Outreach post such that it meets the requirements and standards for such posts as identified by the NMBI, for submission by the organisation to the NMBI so that post accreditation is achieved. In the case of application for additional posts in an area already accredited by the NMBI, the candidate will contribute to the application as directed by the Director of Nursing & Midwifery. In addition, the individual will develop the clinical skills, competencies and knowledge required in order to meet the criteria to be registered as an RANP in Critical Care with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). This will have completed a substantial clinical modular component at level 9 as part of the educational preparation for the role of RANP Critical Care. The scope of the RANP / cANP Critical Care Outreach role must reflect the incremental development of expertise and as such the RANP can deliver care as an autonomous practitioner. Furthermore, the cANP Critical Care Outreach will develop and submit their personal portfolio and all other necessary documentation to the NMBI in order to register as an RANP Critical Care within a specified time frame. The overall purpose of the cANP Critical Care Outreach post is to provide safe, timely, evidenced based nurse-led care to patients at an advanced nursing level. This involves undertaking and documenting a complete episode of patient care (assess, diagnose, plan, treat and discharge patients) according to collaboratively agreed protocols and scope of practice in the clinical setting; demonstrating advanced clinical and theoretical knowledge, critical thinking and decision-making skills. To support a safe environment for patients by increasing the use of evidence based clinical guidelines, address patient expectations and promote wellness and evaluate care given. To provide professional and clinical leadership in order to develop nursing practice and health policy at local, regional and national level To lead, conduct, disseminate and publish nursing research to shape and advance nursing practice, education and health care policy at local, national and international levels.

This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS). • Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent. • Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation. • Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments. • Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic. • Proactively drive sales and exceed targets. • Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately. • Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks. Essential criteria: • Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training. • Confident using IT programmes. • Flexibility with working hours, as required by the business inclusive of evenings and weekends. • Flexibility to work from offsite locations at least once per month. • Excellent communication skills. • Currently have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship. Desirable: • Experience in a private healthcare setting. • Exeperience in customer service. • 2 years experience in Phlebotomy. • Sales / Retail experience. • Valid UK driving licence.

The Service Twisel Lodge in Holywood Co. Down, is a residential home, registered with RQIA to provide services for 8 adults who have Learning Disabilities and associated complex needs. For most of our residents Twisel Lodge is their home however as part of the eight-person service, we also provide a ‘respite’ facility through which adults with learning disabilities can come and stay with us for a break. This service provides an opportunity for the main carers to get a break from caring duties and enables them to refresh and to be able to continue their caring role. The Role The Cook provides meals, snacks and refreshments for residents with a range of needs in a small residential home. They will prepare meals in line with individual resident care plans and be responsible for health and safety within the kitchen.
