Hsemw Speech & Language Therapist, Senior Clinical Educator
The Senior SLT, Clinical Educator will facilitate SLT paediatric student placements at the University of Limerick SLT clinic as required by the academic clinical placement schedule. They will be part of the HSE Mid West speech and language therapy paediatric team. This will include regular team meetings, CPD and clinical supervision. They will offer support and build capacity within the wider SLT team across Mid-West Community Healthcare in the co-ordination and facilitation of SLT student placements. Within this remit they will carry a primary care paediatric caseload specific to the need of the speech and language therapy service. The HSE Mid West Speech & Language Therapy Service in Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary are large, busy and dynamic teams encompassing Primary Care including Paediatric and Adult Services, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, the Midwest Community Neuro rehabilitation Team and Older Persons including ICPOP and Inpatient rehabilitation and residential services.
