Fresh Produce Assistant
Main purpose of the role: Ensure the fresh departments operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provide our customers with excellent quality and products and services. Interact with each customer with great pride, passion and care. The ideal candidate will have/be: Previous experience as a delivery driver is desirable Full clean driver€,,s licence is essential Excellent organisational and time management skills Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Previous customer service experience is an advantage. Shop Floor Assistant
Main purpose of the role: Merchandise, rotate and face off all stock in assigned department while maintaining hygiene and food standards. The ideal candidate will have/be: Excellent communication skills; Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible; Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team; Main duties: Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative; Process orders for various departments; Merchandise and present the entire store to the highest standard at all times; Liaise with the Store Manager on changes to layouts, ends and sides and ensure changes are correctly implemented; Implement correct labelling and stock rotation procedures; Ensure deliveries are checked off in line with goods inwards procedures. Main purpose of the role: Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards and that the cleaning service is maintained throughout the premises. Health and safety awareness, good communication skills and the ability to work as a team are also very important to perform the role. The ideal candidate will have/be: Craft butchery course is desirable Numerical skills Excellent communication skills Previous customer service experience is an advantage The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi task under pressure A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers HACCP training is beneficial but not essential. Maintain the stock room, manage returns and ensure HACCP and Health & Safety standards are adhered to.
