We install kitchens/canteens in our schools and provide an onsite food service. We are currently recruiting for Supervisors, full time and part time Catering Assistants in St.Bridget's Primary School, Grey Abbey Road, Kildare Town, Kildare . This position will commence in August. Our employees are welcomed as part of the school community. Our employees are off at the break periods: midterms, Christmas, Easter and summer (unpaid). This may appeal to people with school going children. We do not offer set working days, flexibility in working days is essential. This position may not be suitable to people in part time education. The position is subject to Garda Vetting. The position of Catering Supervisor is approx 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Shift time approx 7.30am - 2.30pm. All shift times are subject to the needs of the business. The position of full time Catering assistant is approx 28-32 hours per week operating Monday to Friday. Shift time approx 7.30/8.00am - 2.30pm. All shift times are subject to the needs of the business. The position of part time Catering assistant is approx 12-18 hours per week operating on a 2 day / 3 day rotation. Shift time approx 8.00/8.30am - 2.30pm. All shift times are subject to the needs of the business. These roles involves the preparation hot lunches fresh onsite, delivery of these to the classroom, and clean down. Previous catering and Supervisory experience and knowledge of HACCP an advantage but not essential.
Assistant Pastry Chef Part Time
Rathsallagh House is looking for a candidate who is interested in becoming a Part Time Pasty Chef is already in training for same The business model at Rathsallagh House is primarily event and private party driven. Accordingly the hours are not those normally associated with Restaurant or Hotel kitchens where the days can be unpredictable and long and you are not getting home until midnight. Our Executive Head Chef can plan his rosters weeks in advice sure in the knowledge of exactly what lies ahead. There are no split shifts here and we close for Christmas. The Restaurant at Rathsallagh is open in the evenings to the public on average 25 to 35 days a year. We also open to the public for Sunday Lunch on average twice a month. These openings are strictly by reservation only and numbers are restricted. The idea being that we want a stress free and relaxed kitchen with no unpleasant surprises. So if you are tired of that commute to Dublin, if you have had enough of late nights and unpredictable demands on your talents and would like to work in an exciting and relaxed kitchen in the county side, less then 50 minutes from Dublin airport , then please do get in touch . Rathsallagh House requires part time accommodation assistants / housekeepers. Duties will include working with a team of 8 to 12 staff to ensure the high standards of the House are met. Previous 3/4 star hotel background an advantage. Administration Assistant
Overall Purpose of the Post: To provide a wide range of reception and administration supports to the Children’s Disability Network Team. Duties: Provide administrative supports to the Team as follows: • Provide all necessary administration supports to teams and clinics to include typing of meeting agendas, team minutes and IFSP’s, updating the management Information System and soft copy records in this regard and any other administration supports as required • Provide switchboard support by answering the phone and directing queries to appropriate members of the team. • Provide typing services to support general clinic administration to include: Letters, reports, submissions, mailings, memos, agendas, minutes (to include attendance at meetings as required), and any other correspondence as delegated • Assist with the preparation of files as requested under FOI and GDPR • Organise client charts for clinics • Establish and maintain efficient office practices as to support the efficient workings of the clinics • Maintain effective filing and archiving (hard and soft copies) of all Service/Service user records • Become proficient in the use of the HSE Service Owner Management Information System and other relevant databases • Process and issue consent packs to all referrals • Provide switchboard support by answering the phone and directing queries to appropriate members of the team. • Responsible for informing families (via telephone and post) of scheduled appointments. • Responsible for ensuring that Covid-19 protocols are followed. • Responsible for management of outgoing and incoming post (i.e. logging same in database, distributing incoming post). • Photocopy and scanning. • Transcription of medical tapes into typed documents and handwritten forms into typed reports. • Provide support to clinicians prior to assessments by booking assessment rooms adequate for purpose and ensuring the assessment room is ready (i.e. chairs, mats, equipment). • Complete tasks with high levels of attention to detail. • Understand and work within Enable Ireland’s code of confidentiality. • Ensures that effective safety procedures are in place to comply not only with the Health, Safety and Welfare at Work act but also within Enable Ireland’s policies and procedures. Communication • Ensure that good, clear and respectful communications and relationships are developed and maintained with children and families, colleagues, CDNM, CSM and DOS. Training and Development • To participate in training programs and other developmental needs as identified by the Children Services Manager, Director of Service or Enable Ireland. Flexibility • The appointee is expected to have a high level of flexibility, and a willingness and ability to develop new approaches to their work as service needs require. Duties and responsibilities of any post in the services are likely to change with the ongoing needs and developments of the services and the changing hopes and expectations of individuals supported by the Services. • The appointee will be required to carry out such other duties appropriate to their employment as may be assigned to him/her from time to time.
