Customer Assistant

If that sounds like you, earn €460+ per week as a Customer Assistant on our standard 30 hour contract.You’ll work across different shift times, on varied tasks and with different colleagues.What does a normal day* as a Customer Assistant look like? (*there’s no such thing as ‘normal’ in retail but we’ve tried our best!)As a Customer Assistant you are required to sell alcohol, therefore you must be 18 or over to work in our store. Main purpose of the role: Shop and fulfil orders on behalf of our customers using the SuperValu.ie service. The ideal candidate will have/be: Previous retail experience is desirable is desirable Shop to specific targets whilst being selective and accurate with products Excellent communication skills Accuracy, attention to detail, organised and flexible Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Main duties: Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative Shop to specific targets whilst being selective and accurate with products Have good product knowledge to ensure the items that are picked are of the highest quality and substitution chosen are appropriate Pack the products in the correct temperature zone and in such a way they arrive at the customers€,, home in perfect condition Make decisions on behalf of customers if products ordered are unavailable Work on own initiative with very little supervision Keep up to date with team communication Deal with routine customer queries.

Main purpose of the role: Merchandise, rotate and face off all stock in assigned department while maintaining hygiene and food standards. The ideal candidate will have/be: Excellent communication skills; Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible; Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team; Main duties: Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative; Process orders for various departments; Merchandise and present the entire store to the highest standard at all times; Liaise with the Store Manager on changes to layouts, ends and sides and ensure changes are correctly implemented; Implement correct labelling and stock rotation procedures; Ensure deliveries are checked off in line with goods inwards procedures. Keep the back-store tidy and packed away.
