Warehouse Supervisor Location: Craigavon Durations: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week Salary: Competitive Business Unit : Clinical Services Open To : Internal & External Applicants Ref No.: HRJOB11550 The Role The Warehouse function is responsible for all material receipt, handling and storage procedures including the picking and processing of work orders, material move orders and all other material requests. It includes the effective execution of drug return, accountability and material destruction processes in line with customer requirements (inventory transactions may also be required for the Dundalk site). The post holder is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Manager in the day to day management of Warehouse function, supervising staff to ensure compliance with cGMP and health and safety requirements. Materials are to be managed, controlled and made available in an efficient manner in order to meet customer requirements. The inventory management systems will be operated as per existing procedures; all transactions must be made in an accurate and timely fashion thus ensuring stock accuracy and control is maintained at all times. Patient Advocacy Officer
The main purpose of this role is to deal effectively and efficiently with all patient feedback received in the Quality Department or through the Open Disclosure Process (co-ordinated through the wider risk department). The post-holder will be expected to identify gaps which require the development of quality initiatives, maintain a management system record of all feedback, produce required reports and comply with Complaints legislation and relevant HSE policies and procedures. They will also be available to act in the role of a designated person, with the purpose of supporting patients impacted, as required, and in association with a reportable incident as associated with the Open Disclosures procedures. Responsibilities & Accountabilities ( in no particular order of priority ) · Assist with the co-ordination of all patient feedback received in the Quality Department in an efficient and effective manner in compliance with the relevant legislation and the NMH Feedback Policy. · Co-ordinate and actively participate in investigation of complaints when required. · Prepare written response to patients in respect to complaints raised, including the co-ordination of all patient feedback received in the Quality Department. · Provide education and support to frontline clinical and support staff, in dealing with complaints to ensure they are resolved locally to the greatest extent possible. · To act as a resource for staff on issues relating to complaints management and subsequent quality improvements. · Ensure the feedback management system is maintained and updated appropriately and produce reports as required by the Quality Manager. · To assist relevant managers in developing quality improvement action plans in conjunction with the Quality Manager, as identified as a result of a complaint investigation. To assist with the monitoring of the implementation plan as agreed. · To assist in developing relevant patient and staff information to support the process. · Ensure compliance with Freedom of Information and GDPR Legislation if requested. · Ongoing operational and user management of Patient Feedback Management System, Quality Improvement Registry and Audit Scheduler. · Assist with the development of Quality Improvement Plans as a result of feedback from the National Maternity Patient Experience Survey. · Execute the role of Designated Person as required. · Supervise the operational and user maintenance of the Q-Pulse System. · Supervise Q-Pulse staff, e.g. Administrative Support staff.

The Major Trauma Audit (MTA) is a national clinical audit, that records data on patients with major trauma injuries. It aims to increase quality assurance and improvement initiatives in the area of patient trauma care, through the delivery of high-quality data. Working under the direction of the Executive Lead for Strategic Projects and within the Strategic Projects Office, the MTA Manager will lead the operational delivery and continuous development of the MTA function in MMUH, ensuring compliance with national clinical audit standards. Clinical Nurse Manager, Support Facilitator
JOB PURPOSE The post holder will take responsibility for and co-ordinate and facilitate all the necessary aspects of the clinical adaptation and assessment for Internationally Educated Nurses, (IEN’s) undertaking this process. In addition, as part of the nursing workforce planning team, this role will support and assist with the induction and orientation of nursing workforce and collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Education Team to provide training and support for new staff as required. The purpose of the Clinical Support Facilitator (CNM2 Grade) is to plan, organise and provide guidance and support to the IEN candidates across their assigned supernumerary clinical assessment and adaptation placements. The Clinical Support Facilitator must ensure that the clinical learning experiences meet the NMBI’s regulatory and compensation measures requirements and standards. He/she is required to organise and/or develop orientation programmes; coordinate and / or deliver education classes or training that will facilitate effective adaptation of Internationally Educated Nurses into the Irish Healthcare System. The remit of the post will include the provision of learning and support to IEN participants across the clinical learning environments.
