MDT & Patient Pathway Coordinator
Job Purpose: Purpose of the Position The post holder will work as a Patient Pathway and MDT coordinator within the organization. They will work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that diagnosed patients are actively managed through the service pathway from point of referral, through triage highlighting any potential delays and onwards to MDT, ensuring that all national and local time to assessment and time to treatment targets are met. The post holder will be responsible for the management of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings, ensuring the meetings run effectively and are well-structured, including preparing agendas, recording attendances, ensuring required information is available, collecting data and recording agreed outcomes with the Clinical team. Active participation with the on-going establishment, development and improvement of MDTs which will expand and develop accordingly, as per service requirements. This Operations Technician position in Waterford offers the opportunity to build your experience across operations and quality. Working as part of a busy Operations team, you will report to the Stability Lead while performing sample management activities. Responsibilities Operations Receive and check customer deliveries to Q1 Scientific, highlighting any anomalies and ensuring secure, correct and timely storage of such deliveries in line with customer requirements, regulatory and quality guidelines Take responsibility for retrieval, packing and delivery of samples back to customers Ensure the facility is kept clean and equipment and maintenance schedules are maintained as specified by the Quality Management System (QMS) Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, Openness to feedback and Punctuality and Trustworthiness always Take on additional responsibilities and perform secondary operations and tasks as requested by the Team Lead to support the team during extra busy periods. Requirements • 1+ Years’ Experience working within a Payroll, Accounts or Finance Function. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and ability to quickly analyse data and come to solid conclusions. • Superb client engagement skills and confident in engaging with and building relationships with all levels of stakeholders. • Excellent facilitation, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills • Precise attention to detail. • Excellent time management skills essential • Must be motivated, professional and able to work on own initiative, with the capacity to be a versatile team player – flexible, proactive, and pragmatic. • IPASS qualification is an advantage but not a requirement.
