About the opportunity Jacobs Transportation has an enviable reputation in Highways, Rail and Aviation. The Highways Ireland infrastructure consultancy sector includes a portfolio of high-profile projects with clients that include Transport Infrastructure Ireland, National Transport Authority, Irish Rail, national and regional contractors and several significant Local Authorities. Our Roads team is currently supporting a growing and important portfolio of Major Roads projects from concept to construction. We provide our clients with solutions that are at the forefront of sustainability and climate action whilst also delivering projects that meets the infrastructure needs. Our Rail team provides a comprehensive passenger and freight consultancy and engineering services to the rail sector, covering the full spectrum of railway infrastructure requirements, from business case and project development, preliminary appraisal and feasibility studies through to detailed design, implementation and operational management advice. Jacobs are looking for Project Managers, to work within predominantly our growing Road and Rail Sector in Ireland, who will lead and manage the provision of technical consultancy services to major clients in the Transportation sector delivering multi-disciplinary projects. About you As a Project Manager within our Transportation business, you will undertake a key role in delivering our client requirements. You will communicate progress, potential issues and risks to inform and proposed mitigation to your client and internally. You will agree and control budgets for projects, escalation points, key milestones and targets including time, cost, quality and safety to ensure that objectives are achieved in line with programme plans. We have an exciting opportunity for Staff Grade Psychologists based at our Enable Ireland Wicklow Children’s Services: Contract Type: Permanent Contract based in Wicklow Part Time 21 hours per week (.6WTE) Salary Scale: €57,549 - €90,771 “This pay scale is subject to increases in 2024 in accordance with the recent WRC interim agreement (Ref CAM -100101-22) towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.” Overall Purpose of the Post: To work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing supports to children and young persons aged 0-18 years and their families within Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT). The post holder will be responsible for the provision of psychology services to children and families attending services on the CDNT, to include assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities. This post holder will be required to work across a variety of settings including the clinic, schools, preschools and special schools, children’s homes and community settings. Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: Outlined in Job Description. Essential Criteria: Eligible applicants must: 1. Have a university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject And 2. Have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology Or 3. An equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health. And 4. Demonstrate competence in the Care Group/s applied for And 5. Applicants with a clinical or counselling psychology qualification must demonstrate that they have acquired in appropriate health settings, for the area / areas for which they wish to apply - Disability (Child and Adult), Child Psychology, Adult Psychology - either at least 60 days or equivalent supervised clinical placements as part of the professional qualification; or at least 60 days or equivalent post-qualification supervised work experience as a psychologist. Note 2. Or 6. Applicants with an educational psychology qualification must demonstrate that they have acquired in appropriate health settings for the area / areas for which they wish to apply - Child Disability, Child Psychology - either at least 60 days or equivalent supervised clinical placements as part of the professional qualification; or at least 60 days or equivalent post-qualification supervised work experience as a psychologist. Depaul’s Derry-based Harm Reduction Floating Support and Housing First services provide one-to-one confidential support to assist people who are experiencing difficulties with their tenancy and are at risk of homelessness due to alcohol and substance use. We visit people at their request in their own homes, and tailor the support we offer to meet their particular needs and reduce the risk of homelessness. Your new role You will be a member of a multi-disciplined team using holistic approaches to support Depaul service users. Working to a housing-led, low threshold, harm reduction approach, where service users receive a high degree of support and advice. Depaul has a commitment to service user participation and to empowering our service users to manage their own lives. The aim of the role is to support and signpost service users into services that will improve their housing, health and wellbeing while improving the service users quality of life.
