Ensuring capability and competence of contracting resources is a key component of the role. The Contractor Safety and Technical Development Lead will manage all assessment, and approval needs of all OHL framework contractors in an efficient manner and to the highest safety standards. The Contractor Safety Technical Development lead will provide safety and technical expertise support to the CPG Training and Approvals team Lead and is responsible for driving performance improvement throughout the OHL function. HV Stations Designer
Position Description The successful applicant will be appointed to the role of HV Sub-Station Designer. They will provide the services in areas of HV station design in a timely and cost-effective manner to facilitate delivery of capital and maintenance projects and programmes. In this role They will provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases of projects. The designer must be able to understand the methodology of station control systems, network operations and protection schemes, safety implications, and have developed detailed knowledge of station HV equipment and its operation. Central Networks Mapping Team Member Network Operations
Position Description The Asset Information area in ESB Networks is responsible for maintaining and updating the data and systems that describe the Electricity Distribution System. These systems are used to design, maintain and operate the Electricity Distribution System and prepare ESB Networks for future flexible markets, smarter networks and the decarbonisation of heat and transport. Within this area, the Central Network Mapping team is responsible for maintaining and updating ESB Networks’ Geographic Information System (GIS) which is linked to and supports ESB Networks’ Operations, Customer and Asset Systems. In addition, to all mapping data and records used in ESB Networks; and provided to external stakeholders. Both permanent and temporary contracts (12 months) available.
