Counter Sales Assistant
Job Roles • Operating tills and handling sale transactions accurately • Accept prescriptions for filling, gathering and processing necessary information. • To greet, serve and offer correct advice to customers in a polite and friendly manner, • To learn about and inform customers on all health and associated products including over the counter medication, minor ailments and services offered by the Pharmacy. • To actively sell products and meet targets using appropriate selling techniques and merchandising. • To maintain displays and re-stock shelves when necessary • To develop good practice of stock control to include stock rotation. • Ordering stock, unpacking deliveries and checking dispatch notes, reporting shorts • Dealing with customer complaints effectively • To communicate with and work effectively alongside other staff members • To handle telephone enquiries and give advice while referring callers o the pharmacist when necessary. • Keeping the shop and staff areas clean and tidy • Maintaining a safe work environment • Other duties as required Other: This job description is neither exhaustive nor exclusive. Carpentry and Joinery Apprentice
Profile of Craft Core Skills Carpentry & Joinery Construction The Trade of Carpentry & Joinery is very wide and varied, it encompasses most of the skills required by the Wood Trades. These skills required of the Carpenter & Joiner are not confined to those required to work in wood but include skills in the use of metals, plastics and fabrics. The Carpenter & Joiner is also required to work in a cross section of domains within the overall trade. The following are some examples: Joinery Shop: This section of the occupation requires the Carpenter & Joiner to engage in setting out, production and assembling items of joinery which include stairs, doors, windows and built-in furniture. Site Work: Site work is the construction of buildings or houses which require 1st fixing, formwork roofs and 2nd fixing. This section is split into two categories, constructing/civil engineering contracts. Maintenance: Maintenance work requires the Carpenter & Joiner to carry out a variety of tasks in general maintenance and upkeep of public and private buildings, e.g. shops and factories. There are other areas associated with the trade which include: renovating buildings, shopfitting, exhibition/display work. Ryan & Company is a Carrickmacross-based accountancy practice providing audit, accounts and tax services to owner-managed businesses, farmers and sole traders across Co. Monaghan. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Accounting Technician through the ATI Apprenticeship Programme (QQI Level 6). The role is office-based and combines four days per week of hands-on practice experience with one day of college study at Monaghan Institute of Further Education. You will gain practical exposure across accounts preparation, VAT and tax returns, bookkeeping, and company secretarial matters from day one.
