Team Overview: The Stores & Warehousing team manages the receipt, storage, and distribution of all materials and equipment required for our projects. By maintaining organised inventory control and efficient stock management, the department ensures that the right materials are available at the right time, supporting smooth project workflows and reducing delays. Their role is key to operational efficiency and effective supply chain management. Role Overview: The Warehouse Operative will play a key role in the day-to-day running of warehouse operations, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability are essential. The role involves both manual handling and the use of warehouse equipment, with a strong focus on maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment. What You'll be Doing This role is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse by managing the receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of goods. Key duties include unloading and inspecting deliveries, accurately picking, packing, wrapping, and labelling orders for shipment, and maintaining organised inventory through regular stock checks and effective stock control. The position requires safely operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners, while ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation and inventory records, reporting discrepancies or damages, and working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to achieve daily targets and continuously improve warehouse efficiency and performance.
