Lecturer In Carpentry & Joinery

Croft Lodge is a seven bed wheelchair friendly respite unit which provides adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to come and enjoy a break with us. This service provides 24 hour tailored care and allows main carers to avail of a break to recharge. The Role As part of the Living Options Services, the Team Leader will be a part of the management team and will support the Registered Manager to meet the Residential Care Homes Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005 and DHSSPS Residential Care Homes Minimum Standards, August 2011. They will: Essential Criteria 1. A minimum of RQF Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a health & social care or related discipline AND at least 2 years’ experience in a social care setting providing support/care. OR A minimum of GCSE English & Maths (A* - C) or equivalent AND at least 3 years’ experience in a regulated care or support environment. 2. A Working knowledge of the needs of people with learning disabilities 3. POSITION SUMMARY: Senior Jigsaw Clinicians offer short-term therapeutic supports to young people aged 12-25 years who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. This usually involves 1:1 work with the young person and sometimes it can include other family members as well. Our senior clinicians come from diverse professional backgrounds encompassing qualifications in social work, occupational therapy, mental health nursing, clinical/counselling/educational psychology, and psychotherapy, and they work as part of transdisciplinary teams based at one of our 15 services across the country. All of our clinicians share the same scope of practice to support the goals of our young people in a collaborative, respectful, and evidence-informed manner while drawing on their own unique training, experience, and skills. As senior members of the clinical team, Senior Jigsaw Clinicians assume leadership responsibilities, as appropriate, and work closely with the Clinical Manager in ensuring safe, effective, high quality service provision. Additionally, senior clinicians are involved in health promotion, youth engagement, service development, and advocacy. All of our senior clinicians benefit from frequent and supportive clinical supervision alongside a comprehensive programme of continuing professional development. Details of Service The Speech & Language Therapy Team in Sligo, South Donegal, Leitrim, West Cavan IHA is a large, busy and dynamic team encompassing Primary Care, Disability, Older Persons, Rehab, CAMHS & Mental Health and Sligo University Hospital. The team comprises of over 30 clinicians. Purpose of the Post · To be responsible for the provision of a high quality Speech and Language Therapist service in accordance with standards of professional practice. · To work in conjunction with other team members in co-ordinating and developing the service to meet the needs of the population it serves in line with the objectives of the organisation. · To work with the Speech and Language Therapist Manager in ensuring the co-ordination, development and delivery of a quality, client centred Speech & Language Therapist service across and between networks in the geographical area. Reporting Relationship The line manager for Primary Care Paediatric and Adult posts will be the CHN Manager for the relevant Community Healthcare Area. Leitrim West Cavan CHN Manager, Ms Lorraine Sheridan. Sligo/South Donegal CHN Manager Ms Audrey Colreavy Your professional reporting relationship for clinical governance and clinical supervision will be to the Speech and Language Therapist Manager through the professional line management structure. The line manager for posts in CAMHS and Adult Intellectual Disability will be the SLT Manger.
