Interim Corporate Events Officer
The overall purpose of this role is to promote positive relationships with industry and stakeholders, both internal and external, by organising a range of Corporate Events and Corporate Hospitality. Key to the success of this is the organisation’s ability to forge positive, proactive relationships with a very broad range of stakeholders across the public and private sectors. This can be partly achieved by centralising the management of key Corporate Events in a single unit. The Interim Corporate Events Officer will be responsible for providing a quality event management service to the organisation resulting in professional Corporate Events Hospitality synonymous with the Tourism Northern Ireland (Tourism NI) brand. This includes effective management of contracted external corporate event companies who support on delivery of a range of Tourism NI events and webinars. This role sits within the Industry Development unit in Tourism NI under the Strategic Development Division.
Quality & Certification Advisor
The overall purpose of this role is to provide support to the Quality & Standards team in delivering the Accommodation Certification Scheme and the Quality Grading Scheme. The team works with businesses right across the tourism industry to undertake statutory inspections as specified by the Tourism (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 and Quality Grading assessments under Tourism Northern Ireland’s (Tourism NI’s) Quality Assurance Schemes. Whether a business is taking its first steps in the industry or seeking to mature an established business, the Quality Advisor will often be their main point of contact in Tourism NI. The Quality Advisor will work on a one-to-one basis with businesses, from small self-catering properties to large guest houses, and visitor attractions. Advisors provide a quality verbal and written advisory service to businesses in tourism industry, and encourage, motivate and help businesses to offer a quality visitor experience that will increase Northern Ireland’s competitiveness as a destination.

Bakery Staff/machine Operator/production Night Shift
At Genesis Bakery in Magherafelt, we are currently recruiting for Bakery Staff, pay rate is £12.50 - £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience) +£1 nightshift allowance per hour. You may have the opportunity to increase the rate, as you develop and become more multi-skilled and competent across sections in the factory. Roles available Our Bakery has many sections. You will be part of working as one big team, with each area playing an equally important role in the Genesis production process. Bakery: This section receives raw materials, weighs ingredients, mixes and prepares all sorts of delicious things. It can involve heavy lifting and moving of ingredients and precision of weighting. Baking / Ovens: This is where goods are baked in our ovens. This section bakes and de-pans the goodies fresh from the ovens and cools them. It can be a very warm environment and precise attention to detail is required to ensure temperature and timings are exact. Machine Operator: As a Machine Operator in our bakery, you’ll be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure the efficient and safe processing of baked goods. This includes setting up equipment, performing routine checks, and maintaining hygiene and quality standards throughout the shift. Ideal candidates will have good attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment. BROTHERS OF CHARITY SERVICES IRELAND – WEST REGION POST OF PERMANENT PART-TIME SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST CHILDREN’S DISABILITY NETWORK 6 TEAM JOB REF: 82460 A panel may be formed as a result of this process from which subsequent Senior Physiotherapist appointments within CDNT-6, may be made over the next 6 months. The Role: The Permanent Part-Time Senior Physiotherapist will be responsible for the delivery of Physiotherapy support to Children accessing Children’s Disability Network Team 6 (CDNT6). CDNT6 provide services to children from 0-18 with complex development needs which include physical, sensory, intellectual disabilities and autism. The Brothers of Charity Services Ireland (BOCSI) are the lead agency for this team. CDNT’s are interdisciplinary teams who work within a Family Centred Practice model and work collaboratively with children, families and other stakeholders to meet goals identified by the family. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a physiotherapy service to include assessment, diagnostics and delivering intervention to children and young persons in clinic, school, home and community settings. CDNT6 covers a geographical area of: Galway City East, Claregalway, Gort, Headford and Oranmore. There are 2 positions available: Working Hours: Hours will be within the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Contracted hours are liable to change between the hours of 8am– 8pm as future service needs require. We support them to further their education (both internal and external to the Service) and to build their independent living skills if this is their choice. A major focus of the Support Worker role is to assist and support people who use the Service with development of their own Individual Plan and supporting them to achieve their own Personal Outcome goals. The Support Worker is also responsible for all aspects of personal care which includes supporting individuals with their meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well-being as required by the individual. QQI Level 5 or higher is desirable. • A minimum of one years’ experience of working with individuals with an Intellectual Disability is desirable, full training will be provided. • The candidate should have knowledge of person-centred planning. • A full clean manual Driving Licence, which qualifies you to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish Roads and use of your own car is an essential requirement. It may be necessary for the appointee to obtain a Class D1 Driving Licence (if not already in possession of one). Assistance will be given towards this purpose of obtaining a class D1 licence, should it be required. • Fluency in verbal and written English is an essential requirement of this post. • To be able to demonstrate flexibility, communication and team working skills together with an enthusiasm for the post. Working Hours: Full-time hours are 78 hours a fortnight/part-time hours will vary. All posts are rostered over a 14 day/night duty roster.
