Exports Coordinator

Role Profile We have an exciting opportunity for an Exports Co-Ordinator to join our team in our collaborative hub in Abbey Quarter, Co. Kilkenny. This role will report to the Exports Manager and supports a Lead, Manager, and departmental peers by performing Logistics administration related activities. The role of Exports Co-Ordinator will execute Logistics processes and any associated processes, which will include external requests, internal generation, and requests from government agencies. Responsibilities • Manage and develop relationships with customers, suppliers, agents and Tirlán Staff. • Manage S&OP/Forecasting Process Internally and communicate to External Vendors • Manage the loading of rate cards in SAP and process payments • Support the picking team lead and ultimately Exports Manager. • Control, manage and maintain all exports and where appropriate import shipments. • Process all Tirlán customer orders via the VL10G report within SAP and deliver to agreed Incoterms and customer instructions. • Liaise with external parties to ensure loads are prepared and special instructions clearly communicated including Transport and Warehousing (Internal/3rd Party) ensuring loads dispatched on time and required delivery dates are achieved. • Be knowledgeable of all product groups within the scope of the picking team. • Be Flexible as the role may include other admin duties as required. • Support the preparation of documents as required based on the country of destination import requirements. • Liaise with Tirlán planning, quality, customer service or any other departments required to ensure product availability, product grading and credit availability. • Be knowledgeable of SAP and all S&D specific requirements. • Ensure all issues are escalated to the team lead. • Be an effective agent in the 3M process, striving to implement and learn new Excellence processes/tools where appropriate to enhance the services and processes. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or minimum one years’ experience in an Export/Logistics role or in a related environment. • Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • Results driven, performance capability in a fast-moving business environment • Computer literate in Microsoft Office suite & a working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP process • Strong Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel & a working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP process. • Strong communications with multi-functional stakeholders, including customers • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers • Organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail. • Ability to work well both as part of a team or independently.
