Ballymote Family Resource Centre CLG is seeking to recruit a Manager of the Family Resource Centre Position: This is a full-time position 35 hours per week and is funded by TUSLA Location: Ballymote Family Resource Centre, Wolfetone Street, Ballymote, Co. Sligo Employer: Ballymote Family Resource Centre CLG Overall Purpose of Job: The Manager will supervise the daily operations of the Family Resource Centre, directing a team of staff members and ensuring adherence to the centre's principles. Additionally, they will actively participate in community development and provide support to families. Collaborating with the Voluntary Board of Management, the Manager will execute the Strategic Plan, fostering the comprehensive growth of the Centre. The ideal candidate should have the following: Essentials · Level 8 honours degree or Masters in community development, Family Support, Human services, or a related field. ·Knowledge and experience of the community and voluntary sector (3 years minimum) · Experience in community sector project management. · Familiarity with Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children (2011) · Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. · Knowledge of relevant policies, regulations, and best practice. · Experience in managing and supervising staff. · Experience in implementing a governance framework informed by best practice. · Experience of working collaboratively at an inter-agency level · Experience of strategic planning · Experience of financial management (to include accessing funds) · Excellent report writing skills. · Experience in Management · Access to own transport with full driving license. Fresh Food Manager
Main purpose of the role: Ensure the store`s fresh food departments operate efficiently and effectively and provide our customers with the very best customer service and fresh food offering at all times. The ideal candidate will have/be: - 2 years` experience in a Fresh Food Department is desirable - 1 years` experience in a Supervisor/Manager role is desirable • Excellent communication skills • Good delegation skills • An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets • Passion for fresh food. Main duties: • Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative • Oversee and ensure the smooth running of the fresh departments by prioritising and delegating the workload appropriately • Set, monitor and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste and other KPIs as agreed with Store Manager • Control stocktaking and overheads as per fresh budget • Foster good working relationships among the team • Hold regular fresh food meetings and communicate relevant details and results to the team • Manage employee performance, giving regular feedback, recognition and encouragement • Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and consistent with store policy • Manage employee rostering and annual leave for fresh departments • Ensure merchandising and presentation of the fresh department is of the highest standard at all times and in accordance with relevant store planograms and guidelines.
