Job Summary: We are currently recruiting 3rd Year Motor Mechanic apprentices as part of our Enhanced Apprenticeship Academy Program. This is a part of the four-year apprenticeship offered in conjunction with SOLAS and involves both on and off the job training. Once successfully complete, the apprentice will be awarded a QQI level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in Motor Mechanics. This role is offered on a 4-day work week schedule. About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to be mentored in a high-tech state of the art workshop alongside our highly skilled Master Technicians. Enhanced Training In addition to qualifying with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Craft Motor Mechanics, our apprentices will be provided with the opportunity to gain enhanced training under the new program. Within our dealerships you will be provided with the maximum training available to apprentices within your dealership’s franchises. This training will help to fast track your career development upon qualification. Educational Support As part of the apprenticeship program, we will pay both years of the student contribution fee on your behalf. As a result, you will incur no fees to whilst pursuing your qualification. SCOPE OF WORK: The role of housing apprentice generally involves oral and written communication, responding to email and telephone enquiries, data entry and collating of information. There is a requirement to be flexible in relation to tasks to be undertaken, have a conscientious approach to work, a keen attention to detail and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
