Receptionist
To ensure the smooth daily operations of the Front Office Department, that all requested reports are completed as requested, and that all postings and other transactions are completed as standards. To maintain highest standard of service to guests throughout the Front Office Department at all times. To actively promote good customer relations. To assist in F&B departments when applicable and to the needs of the business To be fully conversant and comply with health, safety, hygiene, fire and security regulations of the Hotel. To maximize the room sales potential of the hotel, by skilful selling. To ensure that registration cards are printed daily and are completed correctly on check-in, the information is entered in the computer, and a key card is given to each arrival. To ensure that a complete handover is written to the oncoming shift, making sure that guest special rates, and special requests are noted and go through, eg 6 pm releases, etc. To ensure that your floats are correct. To be in regular contact with the Accommodation Department throughout the day and ensure that they are aware of changes or updates in relation to the bedrooms, such as stay on’s etc. To capture guest business cards at reception and update the client database accordingly. Develop sales leads and setup appointments for show arounds in conjunction with the General Manager/Owners of the Hotel

Senior Bar Person - 4* Grand Hotel, Malahide We are looking for an experienced Bar Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a Hotel property. The ability to work as part of a team is essential, as are excellent cash handling and customer care skills.
