To requisition goods In accordance with the existing procedures and policies of the organisation and to ensure that due economy and accountability is exercised. To attend to the needs of people supported by the services in each bungalow/ residential setting, this will include household duties. To ensure that people supported by the services private monies are carefully accounted for and that records are kept and reports made as requiredon all matters relating to the custody of monies for and receipt ofmonies from each client. To devise and participate as required in the implementationof Person Centred Plans, Training Programmes and otherplans relevant to people supported by the services. To maintain records and issue reports as required. It is a requirement of the Brothers of Charity Services Ireland thaany matters of concern be reported immediately to your Manager or his/her designate. To be familiar with current developments in the services for people with intellectual disabilities and to attend meetings and to participate in Training Programmes, as required. As the duties and responsibilities of the Unit are likely to change in line with the needs of people supported by the services the staff member must be flexible and willing to change and adapt to new programmes and models of service. To participate and assist with the organisation of Holiday Camps and holiday breaks. To act as a “Key Worker”, where appropriate. CONFIDENTIALITY: It is a requirement to maintain the confidentiality of information concerning the business of the Services in accordance with the Policy on Confidentiality, the Freedom of Information Act and the Data Protection Act. To undertake other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your Manager or Designate. You must hold a Full Clean Manual Driving Licence as you are required to be willing and able to drive a vehicle with up to 8 passenger seats and up to 3,500kg.
